  • It is much easier to see what you're doing and where you are cutting if you switch your "C" and "B" plates (sandwich is "A" plate, "B" plate, cardstock, Nestie- cutting ridges DOWN, and the "C" plate. This way, for example, if you want a sentiment right in the middle of a small Nestie, you can stamp it first, then place your die right over the top and you can see where the sentiment will end up! Hope this helps - it's a much better way to go!! God Bless!

  • @mcescher1957 Apologies for such a random question (newbie here), but what is the difference between the B and C plates? I have read you can use B and dont need the C.... :-?

  • What a neat technique to use with my diamond plate embossing folder! It will make such cool cards for the men in my family. Thanks so much for sharing... I will definitely try it!

  • What a good idea. I will try this Thanks for sharing

  • What an awesome idea, using the duct tape!!!

  • love, love , LOVE the duct tape!!!! Thank you for sharing!

  • can you use the spellbinders in the sizzex texture boutique?

  • @DeniseMichele67 Thanks for the question, I have not tried using it with the texture boutique....but iit might work. Sorry not to be of more help.

  • I enjoyed your video ans seeing another way to print your greeting inside and would like to share with you the way I print the insides of my cards. First I choose the paper I want the greeting to be printed on and I ink or color the paper however I like and then I just run the page through my printer. I then place the die on top of the card stock and center or situate how I want it cut out and then run it through the Cuttlebug. No taping necessary. Works great every time.

  • I'm going to try the different colors of duct tape, too!! LOVE the idea! Thanx =)

  • Another use for duct tape - I am going to try this one. I have used soda cans that I've cut apart and embossed. Those work too - but more work.

  • Nice card. I alos love my Nestabilities! Your cuttingplate still looks good compared to mine. TFS!

  • Great techniques. TYFS. Best wishes Lucinda

  • I, also, got a great deal on Nestabilities at Beverly's. They were ALL on clearance for a song! I have to thank Gina K for turning me on to them, but your video was really informative, too. I can't make cards without my Cuttlebug and Nesties! I love the fact that you can emboss and distress ink the edges. Thank you for sharing this card... it was lovely. I will definitely check out your other videos.

  • Very nice Fathers day card.
