I know that, I'm a Scouser! But he didn't move there until he was 8 or 9, he was born and brought up in Liverpool but was moved to Runcorn during the slum clearances of the late 60's and 70's (when Speke and Kirkby also experienced major population growth).

I'm from Birkenhead so you and I both know I'm not a scouser but any time I go down south everyone just assumes I'm a scouser anyway. In the end you get sick of trying to explain to people that you're from somewhere near Liverpool that no one's heard of so you just end up saying you're from Liverpool.

I'm from near crosby which is classed as merseyside rather than liverpool, but it's still scouse, it's pretty much the same for birks, minus the boat trip..
