  • i did exactly the same like 3 times and when i render it theres no shadow, i think the problem is in the material editor of the plane cuz when i put matte shadow i see it black, so i change the opacity to 0 untill i dont see it anymore

    please help

    Is there any difference between the normal shadows and matte shadows?

    What I mean is not the difference the way they are produced,what I wanna know is ,whether there is a difference other than that

    you can also do this by going Views> Viewport Background, or Alt+B

    Alt+B

    then tick on show back ground in the view port

  • Excellent tutorial! But when you create an animation how do you apply the shadows? Mine renders with shadows but when i create an animation the shadows go?

  • thats how it's done. u should also look up camera mapping and camera projection. it works along the same lines as using matte shadows. just with some interesting results.
