  • I only recently found that the sound was due to the traction control... but I kept wondering what would it be and... yeah, the cars now sound cleaner. Now it's a matter of bringing back the V10 and the old front and rear wing configurations. Don'tcha agree that the current ones are horrible?

  • What do you mean he had no success in the Jaguar? By himself he managed to almost double Jaguar's best ever championship points standing by the end of the year. The car wasn't built for anything better than 10th and he managed 17 points in the season. hardly "no success".

  • The Jaguar needed TC badly! It tended to oversteer all the time...just watch some old vids. First a Jaguar driving a bend and then another car...any car..you'll see that Jaguar pilots had to correct many times while being in the bend. Anyways I love this car ! It looks amazing...their performance became better during the years...the Red Bull Racing cars (which are basically the new Jaguar cars after the team was sold) are competitive until today.

  • It wasnt a good car its just Webber qualified it superbly, you will see by the race performances of both Webber and Klien that it wasnt a good car.

  • People may not agree with me, but the Jaguar R5 was quite a fast car, it is just hard to notice it.

  • I would prefer there no Driver aids. Then you can see who is the best driver, not just the best car heh

  • Nice save by mega mark in the first corner, maybe went in a bit deep after getting in the other cars slipstream, apart from that just a bit of understeer

  • yeah i meant massive oversteer at turn 1 and just understeer for the rest of the lap, and i agree, TC should be got rid of

  • Hands up who hates TC! Wish they had the means to ban it, maybe with control ECU's they can, let's hope so!

  • yeah,, i used to not bother me liek back in 98 and 99 and so on but,, its become to good now, its pretty much floor it and computers keep bak end in.,,, watch onbaord laps from sennas era,, and mad its good to hear engien toppign out on the revvs as the back slides and if they get rid of it,, shuld level driver skill more fairly.. youll be able to see more corrections

  • thats was oversteer not understeer.... the back end was sliding out and he steerin tnto the slide to correct it

  • He slightly locked the rears. Nice correction. Pretty crap traction from the Jag. That TC is just kicking in way too much even with the low amount of throttle he is applying.

  • i think he just ran it in too far under brakes for turn 1, no real problems for rest of lap, just understeer
