the heart? on the end of the spine? or the test tube wires? or the fur? or distorted facial features? it's quite obviously some animalexperiment gone wrong, hence skinny puppy. also i believe this artist who drew it may have been the one who did metallica artwork in the 80's and some skateboard work too. could be wrong though.

I'm pretty sure Roman Dirge, who does the Lenore comics, did the artwork for the album. Vincent Cimino did the sleeve art, though.
