whats the deference in all this bunch of softwears .

blender , C4d , XSI , Maya , xna , mari , modo , etc and etc ...

if they can all do exactly the same stuff and no one of them is better than the other ...

@Arajack yeah man, product differentiation is a product of capitalism. i use to use 3ds max, but now i use c4d, they're basically the same, though cinema feels more "fun" i also plan to learn archicad for environments

it depends on your workflow i guess, cuz im really a web dev/designer and i use after effects and 3d authoring tools to do fancy stuff, and also for my own "movies"

im curious about getting one thats good for animation, rigging, i hear maya is good for that
