wow he did get that confused thats funny... a battleship could sink a crusier in less than 1min. how could you get confused? the battleship would have a battle on its hands the crusier would fight back and it wouldnt be an hour i know but maybe about 4 min before the crusier is downed

Most people don't know or care about the difference between a battleship or a light cruiser. Most people just think any type of warship is a battleship. Not like it matters... but I still agree with you that it's sort of irritating to hear someone calling it a battleship.
