This song was actually released a few years ago on a compilation cd called "Jingle Bell Swing" if anyone's interested - nice clean copy - you can buy the track on Amazon from that album (possibly ITunes, as well, I didn't look) - my kids used to love this version!
@dewey70 Ran across this at an antique mall about Nov. 2008 or so in Indy. The seller had ALL LP's, thousands of them...and this one 78 front and center for just a few bucks....$3.oo I think. Ive never seen another, not on 78 anyway, and certainly not in the sleeve. I recorded it to MP3 if you are interested.
Now it can be told-NORTON KNOWS! That is quite the archive. Art Carney on vinyl. And he did this recital in a single take-after much rehearsal of course.
Yup. I LOVE this record. Ive never seen another. Ive seen the 45 , but never the 78, and certainly not in a picture sleeve. This is the B-side to 'Doodle Li Boop", but I think its WAY better. But you can tell its Art much clearer on the Doodle-li-boop.
would like the MP3 pls
