I still think rahxephon is one of the best mech animes out there. very sad ending though, other then that its great . the 3d in this doesnt look to bad. they tried to make up for it with some dynamic shots involving the 3d. but noe the less, it does look pretty fake and the trailer gives us nothing about the plot. thats the way it is with trailers now a days, either to much or nothing.

@gantz001 Some Mecha anime are more human than mecha but ones without 3d that just happen to have Mechas in it include Escaflowne, Rahxephon, Evangelion, Big O, and Full Metal Panic. Try those if you like Mecha's.

I found this series to be pretty good but I hated the Night time CGI battles. I guess the software wasn't good enough to allow for day time animation.

uggh i liked it better when they originally drew out the mechas rather then cg it up.... i hope the future of these mech animes were more like GUNXSWORD and not like those crappy Neo-transformers.

Looks like another anime 'sequel' which has a main mecha with a similar design, but no similarities otherwise. Probably still going to be good though.

Looks more RahXephon than Raideen IMO.

lol Rahxephon was a rip off raideen and eva so id assume the new raideen would be as sutch. but i'm suprised... generaly they realease premotional suits like that in a SRW to hype up the fans like mazinkaiser, and shin getter lol

Thats because Shin Getter Robo & Mazinkaiser were solely Banpresto's ideas specifically for the game.

Shin Getter came out in 95' and didnt get an ova until 3 yrs late. Mazinkaiser in 1997 & the ova came out 2000.

This is specifically for an anime by the author just like Rahxephon.
