So I've been a good sport and let a lot of these remarks slide because I can see where someone could take this video the wrong way and perhaps feel like they have to put down us "Yanks". But let me just make something clear. This is not a commentary on Australians. Neither is this a representation of what Americans think of vegemite. This video was filmed to make a good Australian friend of mine have a good laugh. So please take your hate elsewhere.

I've lost count of the number of videos I've seen of Americans trying to taste vegemite in a way that no Aussies ever would. (well 99% of them anyway). Don't try to smell it, don't eat it with a spoon, don't stick your finger in it.
Spread it thinly on crackers/toast/bread with TONS of butter or marg. If you can't taste it, add a little more vegemite. If you still don't like it, cool, all the more for us! :P
you're doing it wrong...it's supposed to be in a really thin layer with heaps of butter on toast.
