Excellent piece of work! Thank you very much for Sharing!
What a way of meeting people and get to see their talent. At first was reluctant being on youtube, but getting to do this has brought me into the houses of some very special people. You are one of them. Life; isn't it wonderful!
Keep up the good work. Hope You Are Having A Splendid Day!
There was another Honda TV commercial from this era, featured a song "Get yourself a Honda" I have found the audio version, has anyone seen the TV spot?
@Ditre yeah. um. gas didn't use to cost very much and you can't fit very much in a little bike tank. 75 cents was probably a lot to spend to fill that tank up then.
"obvious creepy pedophile kidnapper" or just a guy with his kid? People sure are quick to assume the worst these days. Riding in the back of a wagon was very common back then. Somehow we all survived without the $200 car seats.
So the cops stops the obvious creepy pedophile kidnapper only to return the teddy bear, ignoring the fact that he has an unsecured child in the back and his shifty behavior? Damn, the 70s were interesting. That said, I wouldn't mind having that John Travolta's Honda.
Gotta love the kid just waving at the cop out of the back of the wagon, lol. Even more when you realize that no one watching it back then would have seen anything amiss.
You seem as biased as I am. However, your info is erroneous. Honda bikes are very easy to fix but that doesn't matter because they are just as reliable. Honda is the maker of the first SUPERBIKE!! CB750!!!! Four in line Single Overhead Cam!!!! They also made the highest selling motorcycle of all time. OK, it was the Cub, but still, that's a lot of motorcycles.
Hondas were voted the #1 bikes by Road and Track. Perhaps if Travolta ever gets bloated, tired, and loses his sense of individuality, he will be ready for a Harley. Personally, I would rather be riding than fixing my bike or looking for pieces that vibrated off .
That's how John started getting around as he said in an interview on the Oprah Winfrey show, while he was promoting "Wild Hogs". He still balances his time between flying his planes and riding his bikes.
Ohhh!!! John is so young!!! John is lovely!!! john is my idol of my two years old, im 22, im dedicated to the dance for John, my dream is stay whit him, SPAIN LOVES YOU JOHN
Wow, my older brother talks about the days when he regularly rode around in the back of our parents' stationwagon, free to bounce around with the beach bags and jumper-cables.
Nowadays, I'd be locked up if I didn't have my kids strapped into their boosters in the back seat...
I remember driving to the beach with my mom and her friends and all their kids packed into a station wagon. 5 adults, 13 kids, no seat belts. Those were the days.
@twistyrider Where were those connections when I was looking for the Honda V-65 commercial with Jay Gleason 15 years ago and could not find it. Then around 2 years ago it ended up on youtube and I almost dropped over. Oh by the way this commercial is a great post.
i wonder how much would the exact same bike cost if it was still manufactured today...

Had to be from 1972 or later, the bike Travolta was riding looked like an mt 125 or 250, which were introduced in 1973.

@mehlert52 That is what it looked like to me. I had a 1975 MT 125, Honda's first street two-stroke.
