When I think of awesome Halo single-player, I think of this. The best weapons you can find, a couple grenades, a metal remix of the Halo theme, and jumping onto the thing that's been built up to be an unstoppable death machine.

Halo 3 and Halo: Reach had some really cool parts, but I think Halo 2 takes the cake for the most all-around appealing single-player.

That's because in Halo 2, Eventually, The Elites or Sangheili, Broke off from the Covenant and joined the humans, In ODST, This had already happened, That's why you're fighting brutes instead of elites. Just like Halo 3. :D

@Taliesin109 Master Chief follows the covenant thru the slipspace rupture into the rest of this game..odst is supposed to be happening at the same time elsewhere in the city..a weird overlap that screenwriters do all the time...they call it suspension of disbelief...

fuck the marines! the only thing they are to me are walking ammo dispensers. plus, they suck cuz all the do is shoot blindly, run right next to a major elite, THEN try to shoot it, but its to late, cuz by the time its in the crosshairs, the marine is already dead!
