Has anybody encountered a spider that poisons them? I have no mods on my minecraft and i've been exploring an abandoned mine for about 2 hours (it's huge) and i found a dungeon (i think) surrounded by cobwebs with spiders that are smaller, have more health and can poison me... where were the patch notes for this??? I didn't even know there was such a mob!!!

If armor changes your speed/maneuverability, diamond armor will actually be worth it, because it would be super-light compared to iron armor, possibly even lighter than leather (depending on how diamonds exactly are in Minecraft, since they're a bit different then IRL). That would make armor choices ever so much more interesting! ATM I never make anything but iron.. O_o

@forge7000 IRL pistons are gas powered, and too small to shoot you up. I would imagine that IRL if such a monstrous piston ACTUALLY would function like in minecraft, you would break your legs and lose the ability to walk on impact with ground, if not launch. But I agree, pistons should shoot you skyward, but because it would be a nice feature.

Or make it so that fire arrows don't catch blocks on fire. Same as shooting arrows through lava; they light players and mobs on fire, but don't do block damage. And I would imagine, if explosive arrows were added, every server would disable them, like many do with creeper explosions.

I think they need an ore to bridge the gap between diamond and iron. Like for example... Iron tool have about 500 uses... And diamond ones have 1500. Maybe use something like titanium or tungsten to bridge the gap at 1000 or something.
