What a lot of crap these "experts" talk! It wasn't that "weird" for men to wear make-up & all of the stuff associated with Glam Rock. These experts forget that R&R was a revolutionary thing & dressing up & adrogyny was part of a 'sexual' revolution. But these experts don't know that, because they forgot or were never there in the first place, as young people who watch YouTube, neither they're supposed to know 'cos it'd be dangerous: best for R&R to be a thing of the past or a product like 'Pop'!

That was fantastic, thanks for posting it. Glam rock is my soul.

It's funny, the things that are said about glam and "gayness". Glam is an aesthetic and an attitude more than anything. Marc was bisexual, as we all know ... and, um, that woman is obviously not aware of Bowie/Jagger. But it was a popular phenomenon, and people appropriated it in different ways. It's not like glam rock set out to be the soundtrack of the gay rights movement or anything. (Sorry for the rant!)
