  • What episode?

  • i don't remember this episode. the only innocent i remember dexter killing was miguel's brother when he was trying to kill freebo. idk if he was innocent or not but it was an accident.

  • I know this wasn't explained in the season but I think that the guy he killed was an accomplice so Dexter is still good in my book lol

  • @Danilomurillo1 What about the motel owner in Nebraska? Even though he threatened Dexter and was a bad person, he didn't kill anyone but Dexter still killed him. I guess he may be excused because Rudy was sorta in charge in that episode, but still he doesn't dwell over it.

  • @LeBronForTheWin ok ok you got me, but that guy was also a drug dealer and would have never stopped black mailing dexter, hypothetically speaking, god am taking this too serious, but I love the series... Anyways, the guy at the boat gas station was innocent too, but he was a real class jerk. Either way if a character does not see the good in the dark passenger then I guess it comes down to a chat with Dexter if you know what I mean.

  • @Danilomurillo1 Dex kills a few innocent ppl, but each kill has some sort of a reason behind it. Like the redneck he kills in the bathroom, guy didnt do anything but be an asshole, however Dexter was in killer mode due to Rita's death and that guy told Dex Rita can suck his dick, so Dex acted like a criminal because he lost it. I'm sure a lot of ppl would beat the shit outta that guy if he said that to them, but Dexter is a natural killer and did what came to him naturally through human emotions

  • @LeBronForTheWin Yep yep, and I still hold that they deserved it, although he went a little harsh don't you think? I was also disappointed there wasn't any deep conversations prior. Most of his kills involve a bit of soul searching before getting dispatched to see the other side lol

  • @Danilomurillo1 The conversations usually are intended to make sure his victim understands why he's being killed, which is usually because they killed someone else, but those he didnt have a convo with either didn't kill anyone or he just didn't have time to do it.

  • @LeBronForTheWin Yes and the conversations are my favorite of course. I cannot wait to hear the conversation he may have with the doomsday killer this sunday.

  • It was bound to happen.

  • Ya Dexter kills an innocent man, he mourns a little over what he has done, then just shrugs it off and continues doing what he does. It's never mentioned again. A bit of a big lipped alligator moment there. lol

  • @nintendofool I guess it's more so just a scene they put in to show he can make big mistakes. Or something along those lines. xD

  • @nintendofool

Well, does he kill any more innocents?

  • @nintendofool Well what else would you expect from something that happens in Aligator alley?

  • @TheIHalou the woman agreed to let him ruff them up so they could get famous. All he ever did was take messed up pictures.

  • @ConsolePlayer64 he wasn't a rapist. He was just kind of a asshole.

  • @dragondeamon100 He was a rapist and he punched women till they were half dead, he was nowhere innocent

  • why didn't they follow up on this???

  • Two songs in this scene.

First part when Dexter arrives: "Tides -Daniel Licht" playing.

Second, when Dexter stop talk to Batista and turns back : "Blood Theme - Daniel LIcht" playing.

  • The guy was a rapist. How is he innocent then?

  • @ConsolePlayer64 'cause he did'nt kill anyone, do you even watch Dexter?

  • This always bothered me. Why put this in and not have it lead to anything. Seriously, it's never brought up again in any significant manner and it's something he did that's genuinely evil.

  • @WhatWeMakeProduction The manner in which Dexter kills people is generally evil...

  • @WhatWeMakeProduction The manner in which Dexter kills people is generally evil...

  • @WhatWeMakeProduction

wait what? didn't you watch the next episode after this one? it tackles the situation head on, which is why he goes on the trip to tampa with arthur to begin with so he can learn how he can deal with the remorse of his actions

  • @cuccamunga

I did... it didn't seem like the fact that he killed an innocent was really all that important though. Maybe I missed something, but it seems like that was something that was shoehorned in. When they talk about it, it's not really significant and doesn't carry any real weight. I also never particularly cared about the way Dexter kills because he only kills serial killers. It's always been a gray area. This was something that was clearly and discernibly evil.

  • @WhatWeMakeProduction

Genuinely except it's a mistake that is.

  • So this is innocent man #2 right? I'm not sure if Miguel Prado's brother counts as an innocent man.

  • @rS17 This is different though. Oscar was an accident, Dexter killed him in self defence. Farrow however, was kidnapped and strapped on the table, and then killed for crimes he did not commit.

  • @rS17 self defence, doesnt even count as homocide @ court, so I dont think so

  • Blood theme

  • its called "Dexter Blood Theme"

  • ahhhhhhh,beautiful.

  • uffff qué escena!!! dexter, el eterno perfeccionista rompe el código al que abrazó como a una madre. creo que es la escena con mas tenson emocional de toda la serie. ay dexter!!! qué carita se ta keao!!!

  • In dexter's defense. It was an accident. At least he never intentionally killed an innocent man in his ritualistic fashion.

  • Love the look that Harry gives Dexter. It's not judgmental in the slightest, but rather more like a worried father.

    Best scene of the season.

  • @Saderox worried, dissapointed

  • whats the name of this song on here

  • It was created by Daniel Licht for this scene, dunno the song name tho.

  • Blood Theme

  • @7deadmanwalking Daniel Licht - Blood Theme

  • @xXjuvellicaXx, what about the theme that plays when Dexter is walking into the station. The one that starts before Blood theme.

  • @Chimera1591 I've looked for it and I couldn't find it, I only have the first two seasons soundtracks and unfortunately the track you want seems to be in the last two seasons, sorry :)

  • @Chimera1591 yeah the one at the beginning of this video? just watched this ep and am now trying to find that song, it's so good! were you able to find anything?

  • @SuperJaxxxxx it's called Tides, track 23 on season 4 soundtrack, just saw it on Dexter's facebook page.

  • @sghiotto omg thank you! finally.. thanks so much! love it :)

  • @7deadmanwalking Blood Theme

  • @7deadmanwalking the first one when he's walking in is called "Tides", the second one that's usually in the end credits is just called "blood theme"

  • One of my fav endings to any episode. Quite touching in a weird way.

  • $%^& !!!!!! while watching this episode i thought like, he didn't check that photographer's background and stuff like the other ones, he just killed him .. and then BAM! he killed an innocent man .. :((((( !

  • @legendrona9ldo yeah he just found a fingernail in his studio... that just rules out anybody who has never been there lol. It's weird though cuz Dexter says he doesn't have feelings but in this scene he obviously regrets killing him.

  • @limbobbins, not really. He's feels bad because his "code" made him different from the people he killed. Now, he's just like them.

  • OMG nooooooo! why why why

  • Sorry?
