I have looked at and questioned both sides of the issue. I just don't know all the history and facts. I also see fault on both sides. I have only seen you harp on against radical Zionism. I have watched many videos on both sides. I recently watched the documentary on America titled "Why we fight". It shows how strong the military industrial complex is and how much money can be made during war. It won't be easy, but I'd say we must shift them towards creating plowshares rather then weapons of destruction.

Also, as far as a just response, Israel had to respond in a way that would eliminate the future threat of rockets. They didn't go into Gaza to get revenge. They went into Gaza to protect themselves, to destroy weapons caches and the smuggling tunnels that brought them in.

Israel's response has not been disproportionate. Before the latest war with with Gaza, the south of Israel was being bombarded daily with rockets from the day that Israel returned that land to the Palestinians. There were casualties and the whole population had to basically live in bomb shelters. Many people were scarred for life emotionally even if not physically because of the years living under the daily onslaught of rockets. The media does not talk about that.

If you look at all the different types of Christian faiths today, you will know that very few really know or at least practice the main tenets of what Christ taught. How does this affect King Abdullah's policies or actions? Obviously her words do great for the image of the Arab world and specifically Jordan though is this contradicting with her husband? It does seem that radicals on the Palestinian side start most things and that the response is usually more devastating from Israel. You can't win that way. No such term called "HOLY War" exists anywhere in the Islamic literature (Arabic for Holy war is Harb Al-Muqaddas). Jihad just means making an effort. Also, as far as a just response, Israel had to respond in a way that would eliminate the future threat of rockets. They didn't go into Gaza to get revenge. They went into Gaza to protect themselves, to destroy weapons caches and the smuggling tunnels that brought them in.

Israel's response has not been disproportionate. Before the latest war with with Gaza, the south of Israel was being bombarded daily with rockets from the day that Israel returned that land to the Palestinians. There were casualties and the whole population had to basically live in bomb shelters. Many people were scarred for life emotionally even if not physically because of the years living under the daily onslaught of rockets. The media does not talk about that.

I know I do not understand the whole situation. I do agree that the military response has been disproportionate and I also understand their is issues with them building settlements where some people say they should not be building.
One the other side, I have heard that there are schools where the Children are taught to hate Israel and do not want them to exist, so to me, that is part of the challenge as well.

The new testament has very little in it which could be considered antisemitic. Jesus was not talking about all Jewish people, he was talking about a few hypocrites. Not all Jewish people did or do believe the same thing, and that goes for all Catholics or Christians.
