  • What material is this plane?

  • is that the stock motor (brushed EPS400C)?

  • @JGAN96 Yes, I believe so... it's been a few years since I flew this plane.

  • I Just started model flying. I have a Slowstick, and i've learned to fly that plane compleatly failfree. Do you recomend this as my second plane? Does all the parts come with it if you buy it over the internet?

  • Ailerons arent a good idea on a second plane. Go with a Hobby Zone Mini Super Cub.

  • i like your lego mindstorm rims....

  • 1 question when u bought the e starter did u the the transmiter with it?

  • no, they are seperate...

  • Oooo HOT paint job . Looks super cool. Nice landing too!

  • i got one too

  • Hi Super das war mein erster Flieger toll

  • Gidday, beautiful plane. And nice flying. If you don't mind me asking, (And I know, people have asked already, but just wondering what your full Setup is? Your motor sounds good, powerful. I'm getting into RC, and about to buy all my gear, including a E starter GWS shell. Is it a good plane? Any things to look out for with it? Or any dodgy parts that may require attention? Thanks so much, and thankyou for the video, I really enjoyed it.! Post some more some time?! All the best, Jared.

  • Hi Jared - I am the builder. I put this together for my brother last year as his first aileron trainer. Before this plane he flew an EasyStar and a Slow-Stick (both rudder/elevator only). He took to the E-Starter on his first flight with it - a very comfortable aileron trainer. There is not a lot of room here in the comments section to help you out... are you on RC Groups? Look up my handle on RC groups and send me a PM and I can give you more of the details.

  • Nice flight. I have the same plane too, but I'm not that good...

  • What planes are there that are good for a begginer?

  • I would recommend the Multiplex Easystar. It is easy to fly, nearly indestructible, and not to hard to put together. I think it does come in a "Ready To Fly" version. If you crash it, you just glue the Elapor foam back together with 5 minute Epoxy. It will run you just under $200 for a RTF version. Otherwise, a GWS Slowstick is not a bad beginner plane either. But it requires more building, and the directions are hard to understand b/c they are poor translations from China.

  • nice vid, mines still naked. lol. thats a great color scheme.

  • thanks...happy flying, keep watching "hippies smell"

  • Sweet i think i'll go work on mine now, nice colors and wheels!! and flying to!

  • Check out the video response also... we just put floats on it... very cool! Thanks for the comments!

  • Yes, mine has "hinges" that appear to be a flexible plastic... (my brother built my E-starter as a gift) - but I also know, I used RC Aviation Tape that you purchase from your hobby store... it's like a stronger version of scotch tape. And it works well, too. Paper would have to be pretty strong.

  • cool video, like the colour scheme, would i be ok to use the stock motor and an 11.1v 1000mah lipo????????? i have 2 cell 900mah lipos and 3 cell 100mah lipos would the motor be happy using these lipos as i have a fair selection from my helicopters, been looking at this plane for a while and really like the look of it,also where do i get the wheels you are using??? nice flying smart video.

  • I fly a Thunder Power Li-Po 1320 mAh/11.1V 3cell...and it flies like a champ. You'd probably be ok with anything over 1000, don't know about under... also depends on the prop you put on it. We recently put on floats, and have been having a blast with it... check out my other video.

  • Is that a stock or brushless E-starter?

  • stock...everything is stock excepte the wheels

  • what battery do you use?

  • thunder power lipo 1320m/Ah/11.1V (3 cell)

  • I love the video, I am from kentucky also.

  • Thanks for the comment! Happy flying. Drop a line if you are ever in Louisville and want to fly...

  • where are you flying at in louisville?

  • Everything I do is electric, so I don't go to the RC park over Hurstborn. Instead, I go to the University of Louisville, Shelbyville Campus on Shelbyville Road east of I-264. There are several big fields there, and I've never had a conflict.
