Craig Gannon. He briefly replaced Andy Rourke in early 1986 as a bassist, but when Rourke was quickly brought back into the band, they kept him on guitar through the UK tour--with Marr--- (which is why you see him here) He left the band that October. There do exist some band photos with him.
unfortunately thats never going to happen. Morrissey absolutely hates Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce due to the law suit of the 90s that awarded Joyce and Rourke millions of Morrissey and Marr's royalties. And I guess why would Morrissey, he's launched an incredibly successful solo career.
@waterfordbum89 I wouldn't bet on it. For me, The Smiths' legacy should be left. It would be great...but disastrous at the same time - if you know what I mean.
I was there! About 10 rows back on the right! What a night that was, wow this vid really takes me back,. this was my third Smiths gig and Marr and Moz were as ace as ever. JM is god!
If only this weren't roughly a year after my birth, I would have loved to have been there. I've seen Morrissey more than a dozen times, but sadly was far too young to have ever seen The Smiths!
He is absolutely magnificent. Of course he has aged considerably since his days in The Smiths, but his voice is still fantastic, the intros to his shows are well-planned and filled with good music and videos. In between songs he is very witty and often refers to a few current events.
The atmosphere is great, and everybody is singing along to every song Moz sings.
I highly recommend seeing him live as soon as you can - if you're a Smiths or Morrissey fan, it's something you'll never forget.
Umm yes that's exactly what I was saying - it has been more than 20 years since The Smiths ended. One does a 'considerable' amount of ageing during such a period.
I see you're in Michigan, though, which may pose a problem. I'm just south of LA and was fortunate enough to see him 5 times in one week as he set-up residence at the Hollywood Palladium for 10 nights. He always plays several dates in New York and Los Angeles, so I'd look out for one of those.
whos the 3rd guitar player?

I would say he has aged at the same rate as everyone else on planet earth, roughly 365 days every year.
