I don't know if I respect Beatty or not but I do respect Nicholson. This speech was a complete load of shit. The crowd and atmosphere in general was extremely lacking.

There was a darkness about the place that can't be denied.

When you look at Jack, Beatty, Gene Hackman, Sean Connery, and then a few years younger, with Pacino and Dinero, and even Mick Jagger, that generation, Born in the mid 1930's through early 1940's, was a "Kick-Ass", hard working and hard partying, generation of "DO'ers"!

warren beatty is a legendary. he entertain alot of people for years and is the first one been oscar nominated for best writer, best actor, best director and best picture in one movie and in the same year and he did it twice.

You're right, as a stutterer he can't. Had speech therapy as a child and in the beginning of his career but apparently it didn't help much. :)
