Honestly, if it weren't for the lights and sounds I wouldn't hesitate at all to buy this as soon as possible. Even as a little kid though, I've always hated electronic gimmicks so I don't want to pay money for something I don't want. If they released a version of the figure without the gimmick, I would definitely buy it.

In regards to the Trailer for Optimus, there isn't one in the movie, but there is a peg hole on in truck mode that could work with a future trailer released from Hasbro.

I have one and the gun is so heavy that it keeps swinging down and the rear tires in bot mode really are annoying, the keep popping out and when bending at knee pops it out an is dousent stand straight and the arms don't stick to the body all that great. I give the bot mode a 6/10 veicle mode 9/10

The transformation is complicated but compelling. Kids normally get the Voyager Class figures which are a lot simpler to transform.

sorry, this has got to be one of the worst transformations ever...matrixprime..you made it look so confusing...there is no way this is a toy for a child....especially since it seemed you had trouble grasping the figure while transforming...and you're probably a professional when it comes to any of us...so not a criticism to you, but the toy.

actually, the transformation is not complex at all, it just looks it. I would say the most complex thing about the toy is getting the hood pieces to lock in with the front of the truck.
