  • lol H Jon Benjamin

  • It's funny. The end. Get the stick out ur ass.

  • I love reading comments on clips like this, Im from Sweden and im most certainly not uptight or easy to offend.. however there is a difference between making fun of a country or just being poorly educated about a country.

  • I thumbs down because this title is ad. It was supposed to be a real commercial with Conan.

  • "Swedish commercial" ? The only Swedish about this is the two words "Skillnaden är" in the end!

Stop confusing us with Germany, it's getting really old...

We've got lots of self-distance and humor, not to ignorant Americans though...

  • @zekatl lol...not even we germans talk like that...

  • @skiegiek I know you dont - but the _Americans_ think you talk like that...

  • definitely not sweden

  • thats not even close to a swedish accent, so fucking offensive. how would an american feel if i went around talking like a canadian and saying its american

  • @lundh4 lol. The differences between a standard canadian accent and standard american accent are so miniscule, most native speakers wouldn't even know the difference without seriously listening for it. And even if you tried to exaggerate specifically canadian phonetics and call it american, no one would give a shit. bad analogy.

  • European countries act very provincial... it's pretty sad. In America people love to make fun of their own country and do not care when others make fun of them. But in European countries I've noticed, when someone makes fun of them they get very angry and offended. Lighten up!

  • @CircleBastiat Whaaat, thought it was the other way around, HUZZAH!

  • @Fureiman HUZZAH :)

But seriously, I've been to Europe twice and the people there take themselves very seriously... to the point of absurdity.

  • @CircleBastiat

Yeah kinda agree on that, standard culture, like here in sweden, most people easily gets butthurt from a single remark. :( It's kinda sad actually, so uptight we are!

  • MY EYES.

  • Coach McGuirk!

  • Forget all the cultural differences, silly scandinavians, and focus on the KITTIE'S EYES. MEOW.

  • I havent seen this commercial in Sweden!

  • @Pepsthecat Same. =X

  • german accent.. does not fit :/

  • What I find most funny are some of the comments: "We don't have Bud Light in Sweden :(" or "That is a German accent :("

Like anything in a commercial with Conan O'Brien would even be meant seriously. XD

  • @pekalr lol, right. besides, we don't even care to tell the difference b/n a swedish accent vs a german accent. this is just supposed to be a funny ad, making fun of Conan himself, and European's taste. laugh and move on.

  • Reminds me of SVEN from how I met your mother, hah styggt

  • even if we DON'T have Bud Light in Sweden and it seemed more like Germany it was cool. :D

  • "Vroom Vroom there party starter"... New catch-phrase :D

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

  • never seen this in sweden.

  • OH MY FREAKING LORD, that's H. Jon Benjamin!!! He's Coach McGuirk on Home Movies, Satan in Lucy Daughter Of The Devil and the lead character in Archer!

  • it is!!! hahaha

  • ooh, this is why we dont have bud light in sweden!

  • USA always think that Sweden is Germany, not even Conan can tell the difference :/

  • hah, don't even start with the hole Sweden/Switzerland thing.

  • lol "Vroom vroom there party starter"

  • it's not swedish because we dont have bud light :S

  • ahahsah so funny

  • hahahhaha xD I laughed so hard

conan, make a finnish liquorice commercial

  • Lmfao!! The freaking cat? Ha!

  • Swedes shouldn't be offended; it's not making fun of Sweden and Swedes, it's making fun of Conan :) Don't worry, I'm Dutch and I live in the US. I'm often mistaken for anything from German to Danish to Russian. I couldn't care less.

  • jag tycker det låter mer tyska än svenska

  • lol Vroom Vroom there party starter!

  • Hahah! :D Vrooom vrooom party startaH!

  • Are they speaking german? haha

  • I've never seen any Swedish commercial look anything like that...

  • The greatest freakin commercial ever!!!

    VROOM VROOM

  • This never aired in Sweden

  • Lmfao. XD

  • lmaooo, i love conan(:

  • Most swedes seem to find this funny, they' ve got some self-distance. Compare the reaction to the one from Russians about the song in "russian style" (Tingeling) that was performed at the swedish Eurovision contest... OUTRAGE!

  • True that!

  • 1) I think the agent is the same guy who voices Coach McGurk from the cartoon Home Movies.

    2) I think the point is to make a ridiculous and incorrect stereotype to make it even worse for him

    3) Vroom vroom der pahty shtahtah!

  • It's totally McGurk! ahaha good call

  • oh no, they did the german accent again...sigh

  • swedish girls are hot and blonde

  • HAHAHAHA I´m swedish and I find this commercial very funny ^^

since the facts are wrong xD german clothing and talk ....

  • lol idd, some do that with dutch aswell

  • As a Swede I'm offended and entertained at the same time. I love Conan and his humor, but I'm tired of Americans joking about Swedes/Sweden without knowing ANYTHING about us. Ask random American and you'll probably hear "Swedes are liberal sexy blondes who can't pronounce a single word in proper English". Please, I've been in U.S. many times and I speak better English than most people I met there, not to mention knowledge that few Americans know themselves about their own country.

  • someone takes stuff too seriously...

  • It's a joke, I'm sure you Swedes have quite a few about us Americans...

  • @EvilSylv men är du sexy ?! that's the important part.

  • skillnaden är means the difference is :) And the english that the two guys are talking is more the german style and if you ask me I don´t really think you can hear on his english if a guy is from sweden

  • @sloggis oh yes, you can often hear very clearly on someone's english if they are swedish

  • For a Finn this is just hilarious. But indeed the English here is no way near Swedish accent... more of a German. But anyway a fun commercial! LOL

  • hehe I think you guys have messed up germen with us swedes. Listen to /watch?v=zmRV9Izw2mg and u get to listen to a real swede!

    But funny commerercial anyway

  • It seems like foreigners compare Sweden with some kind of "german" style. lol I dont get it.

  • Vroom, Vroom Pary Starter. LMAO.

  • I'm a swede and i think this is hilarious^^

    Not swedish though o_O

  • mehhhh, i love conan to death but that was mediocre at best.

  • i really dont see anything bad here, its typical Conan comedy

  • This reminds me of when Conan did the "German Disco Lightshow" on Late Night.

    Hilarious!

  • It's neither Swedish nor German and I should know, 'caus I speak both languages. But it's definitly making fun of the Swedish Techno music culture. Just think about 'Basshunter'...

    It's funny as hell though.

  • It sounds more German than Swedish, but whatever... :P I think it was funny! :)

  • How is this offensive? It's more of a mockery of the German gay culture. As a Swede: I couldn't care less!

  • I'm from sweden and I don't get how this is offending or even close to making fun of sweden.

    Anyway....

  • Gotta laugh tho I can't make out a single word of what they're saying. And if Swedish commercials was like that I'd have to hire an exorcist for my TV :P Conan FTW.

  • I'm from Sweden but I cant hear what hes saying in the commerical, it cant be swedish ?

  • Han säger "Wroom wrooom party starter"

  • That dude at the end mocking Conan made it hilarious!!

  • Haha, because we Swedes really talk like that. No, not really.

  • Ha ha ha! Conan is great!
