well i got locked out and i had to wait an hour to retry to type it in and you know if you dont type it in right you have to wait another hour but i had to wait an hour but i connected my iphone to my computer and it said sync in progress and i canceled and it let me try multiple times and i got in and changed my passcode

If you don't want to loose all your stuff back it up. Then restore from back-up. Everything will go back to normal except for the password and other network settings.
