esto me tumba totalmente.......una voz preciosa...una interpretacion preciosa...y de eso se trata.........de lo que unas ondas nos dan mas que otras.........la onda de este hombre es sobresaliente....
WOW...what a blast from the past!...I'm 60 and listening to the songs I grew up with, I can now really appreciate them. There is a group today though with beautiful voices called IL Divo...u might give them a listen.
It's old Joe commenting again, about my favorite singer, as far as I am concerned
no one sings this Italian song any better. O f course, that is just my view, but that is why there is vanlila and chocolate. When I was young I heard, Al, at a club in Phila., sing this great rendition of a Italian love song. He, Mr. Martino, at that time exclaimed that while In Italy, brought this song, to America. Every great Italian singer like C. Francis, J. Vale, and D, martin have sang it.
@joeiannuzziable I agree with you 100%. Al Martino always was and still is a hit in our house. I grew up on his music all those years ago. I am now 53 and I still believe Al Martino sings those songs to me and me alone. There is no one who can sing Italian romantic songs like Al. He just has that pure golden voice that you never hear these days. My mother who passed away in 2006 said he was the most romantic singer in any language. Good ole Al knows he lives on in our hearts forever.

I've been looking for this song for 20 years....I used to hear it on the jukebox at the Italian restaurant I waittressed in after high school....this and his version of Nessun Dorma were my favorites....what a beautiful voice. I always think of pasta fagioli though when I think of Al Martino. That and the cute pizza guy.
Al Martino has a wonderful voice. Al Di La was our favourite song growing up and my mom adored him. He has a sweetness in his voice and the power in it is hard to match. Thank you Mr. Martino for all the joy you have given us over the years. We love your voice and there'll never be another you.
wonderful voice, with a so so song, i don't know any singer who can give it some life. The British public turned against Al, as he was seen as self centered with an over sized ego. So what, you have to believe in yourself even if it's just to survive your public performances where your being judged. I have enjoyed Mr Martino's records for years, check out Here in My Heart, gives me goosebumps every time i play it.
Una gran voz , para una de las mas hermosas canciones que se hayan compuesto.
Alexander.
