LOL i tried this tactic 3 times in a row and all 3 times they were like "OMGWTFBBQ?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?" cause they didn't pay attention and they noticed my engineers when their radar went down (when i captured their MCVs :D

... wow no offence but if it was me first thing ill do is pack up my CC and park it in front of the Hon GG then ill use my crane to get a WF and overrun the shredders (alternatively ill use my ZOCOM Harvesters to destroy the shredders)

If I was going to try to perform the MCV Rush tactic, I typically build a single Crane or Foundry instead of a Power Plant for 2 reasons. 1: so that I could queue up a Barracks to place down as soon as the MCV deploys into a Construction Yard (instead of a few seconds after it deploys). 2: so that I could at least have a production queue (and maybe a Refinery and other production structures) to keep me in the game in case my MCV Rush fails.

some one tried this on me they seen i had 3 watch towers and ran off i already had my war factory up, i banged out a few preditor tanks and chased it all the way back to his empty base it was the quickist game i probly ever had, and by far the most hilarious one, , heres a tip for any beginer, as soon as u build a power plant build a infantry turret, better to be safe then sorry , and this is the worst rush tactic of them all, its so easy to defend against

this is harder in kanes wrath due to capture delay. do not attempt this in the expansion pack unless you have enough to get past (i think it's) a 3 second delay where ur vunerable

i was playing scrin vs scrin and we both used the wait tactic which is where u pack up ur drone ship and lol put it in the top left hand corner but my opponet was a noob and put it in the bottom right so we were sitting there for like an hour and i was like dude when is he going to take and asked common attack me and he says it back so the game whent for 3 hours untill he left lol

The whole game is designed to encourage rushing, it's an arcade game and you can only win by spamming and not by any real strategy. It's still fun though.

Rushing is the only way to win, I find. Just depends on the type of rush, the type of units, and how long it takes to happen.

I tried this on a Skirmish against a medium and won within three minutes. I don't think the AI really takes this into account.
