@889350351 No need for power commander. GXR 1000 and Busa gen 1 and 2 ECU`s can be flashed, remapped, and the speed limiter deactivated all for less money than the power commander costs. Busa gen 2 ecu can even have the rev limiter programmed to act as a quick shifter!.

FYI - GSXR and BUSA ECU`s can be totally re-flashed, without need to buy power commander, and can be remapped. The speed limiter and rev limiter can be simply turned off via a check box.

@jonnyga73 it`s not that the factory blocked it , its just that rpm limiters closes at 303 maybe with some extra map that would let it get 15 000 rpm and kill engine even after one run it STILL cant do even 330 , the on ly way would be puting less chain with like 500 hp maybe then...

@889350351 Here in Australia the stock bike only pulls about 285 I believe due to speed restrictions on new bikes. I`m sure it is just the rev limiter kicking early in top gear but you can turn it off. I had mine done and remapped. Stock sprocket ratios on busas here are THEORETICALLY good for 343km/h at 11,000 in top gear.

Mine has 185 RWHP stock engine core with remap, RS3`s, PAIR system gone, and airbox mod. I`ve never held it flat to see where it runs to on the speedo, I just ride it, so I don`t know where the 185 HP matches the wind resistance in the bike. It may need a few more ponies as well as a few extra teeth on the front sprocket to pull 370 but that's getting stupid. It would be doing 80 at idle in first gear. Besides, I prefer not to bullshit about how fast a bike is or isn`t.
