i like old ken (redken) better than the new one. another reason not to use new ken is if you mi up the new crazy kicks. if you can get them in combos and use the new kicks effectively, well good for you, butsome prefer to just stay away from all that keep the invicible dps to boot. better damage too with redken.
O.Ken is very good, especially for Shoryuken, slight dmg boost, slight speed boost.
However, N.Ken has way more options. Knee bash mind games, lots of combos, and just overall better compatibility. Plus he has his super/tech throwableness.
Old Ken has great recovery time and can match 90% of the SF characters. And his speed has always been top notch with Hadukens. So if you like someone thats named O.Sagat Junior go ahead
One thing I never got about some players is why do they choose the old version over the super turbo version of the character? And I say that for certain characters like Ken or Ryu. From what I see, you just effectively remove a super move ability from your character. I can understand if its a champion edition change or Turbo but not Super street fighter choosing except for like Sagat or something.
Except the fact that O.Ken is technically better then N.Ken because O.Ken has better zoning and all three DPs are invincible on start-up compared to N.Ken which only has invincible jab DP.
