Wow, SC, I just hit a random video of yours and this was it. This is a sad but beautiful video. I hope you bring some of this vision to the Lombardi St. videos!
This just Breaks my Heart I want to help but these people are human, but un-reachable sometimes.
I wish I could cure the world, but I feel HELPLESS, I have always been known as a caretaker and carry peoples burdens upon my shoulders, because I do care and have in-sight to the feelings and emotions, they are there in my heart I can see them but not touch them for they are like Shadows in the wind.
Yeah, opium and other assorted stuff has been with us for a long time. Amazing how notables had a problem with drugs over the ages. One that comes to mind-- THE Sigmund Freud! He had a cocaine addiction & went spouting off about how breastfeeding caused "ecstasy" for mom&babe (THE STUPID OLD FART) and preached to a Victorian public whose thought went towards elimination of breastfeeding. And deaths of many infants worldwide can be attributed to what his drug-sick mind came up with!
Its a genetic disease, and its physically addicting as well and mental addicting. It purely depends on the personality type figure. I have had several relatives go down because of liquor and drugs. I have to watch it because I have that gene.
Some understand the factor behind it all and some just wanted to beat a man when he is down. I dont believe in beating a person when they are down, ALL SHOULD TRY AT LEAST TRY TO BRING THEM BACK AGAIN. THEY CRAVE DRUGS LIKE SOME DO CHOCLATE.
Yeah, I know it can be due to genetics as well as personality. Do you know anything about homeopathetic treatments for this?. I am involved with community health nursing. Was interested in knowing what are the specifics for treatment of this disorder without pain, etc. I do not deal exclusively with this problem, but it does come up. Can post to my inbox, if have specifics.
This was filmed during the 70's. We will have addicts with us forever, and have always had them. We had Opium Dens a hundred years ago. The Opium was smoked and inhaled. Just say "No", to heroin.
It amazes where you keep finding these video's. This music takes me back, my Mum had a Simon and Garfunkel tape we always listened to in her car when we went to visit my Grandmother. Another great video!

Very sad video. The music goes perfectly. Dope users all end up as silent as the grave.

This footage looks like the late 60s, when the Sound of Silence became a smash hit.
