  • FOR MY MOTHER =(

  • I like Clapton and I like all sorts of music, but why is it that if it sounds religious somebody has to thump the book? ; P

  • @2mfarms couldn't agree more..

  • i love this song.. i love the gregorian music... it's PERFECT *__*

  • so they covered an eric clapton song?

  • This song is not a spiritual song but a materialist song.

Without my body can you see me in heaven ?

Name is not spirit's name but body's name.

So would you know my name in heaven.

  • are this gregorians illuminati??? sh*t the f*ck if they do...

  • @lanche03 Illuminati, the invention of the weak to explain their lack of success.

  • @realbadbav Illuminati: fantasy, eh?

  • @BaronBuddy Yes, as I pointed to in my original post. To imagine the "illuminati" or any secret world order exisits is to theorise that there is some form of plan...the world suggests not, therefore my original comment stands

  • @realbadbav ach, now that was a touché! I clap my hands in the sheer joy of a classical and strong argument!

  • @BaronBuddy I'm glad you can appreciate a sensible argument, against say one that belongs in Harry Potter.

  • @realbadbav ah, keep on thinking and spread your words across the world of youtube, and be it that you're lucky, you might find a good listener out there, who shares the thoughts. most likely you'll have to live with the "haters gonnae hate" phenomenon

  • @BaronBuddy or in your case, Morons gonna Moron

  • @realbadbav ooh, as graceful as a crazed hippopotamus! The ballad of nonsense and philosophical annoyment continues, and the norwegian idiot unstoppable jabbering will remain... thank you for attention.

  • @BaronBuddy So, you're Norwegian then...interesting. So, do you honestly believe the Illumati theory or are you here to Troll?

  • @realbadbav i've never said i did honestly believe in the Illuminati! when did i mention that? I apologize if that was wat you believed. If you named my a moron because of that misunderstandment, oh ach, now i understand you! even I would call a man whom believed in the illuminati a moron, or just and idiot :)

  • @BaronBuddy I'm geniunely happy for you...I thought you believed in the illuminati

  • @realbadbav God, it feels like years since i actually listened to this song... spend all my time answering people commenting me! [._.] whale, whale, whale; thank you for wasting your time and giving me something to waste my studytime on!

  • @BaronBuddy you're welcome re wasting your studytime...I hated study too.

In a final answer to you question 3 days ago. Lemmy is called God in the film Airheads, something that has become a running Joke. Eric Clapton wrote this song for his dead child, and then promptly released it, which is why I call him a sell out...that song didn't need to be sold

    Have a good life.

  • @realbadbav thank you :)

    Lev Vel

  • @realbadbav He co-wrote it.

  • @LordLithicus Sorry, who co-wrote what?

  • WONDERFUL !!

  • excelent.....!

  • These guys crack me up

  • eric clapton is god! gregorians, you copycats... but still it sounds good(not as good as original, still)

  • @BaronBuddy Oh dear, you've confused Eric "Sell out" Clapton with Lemmy, I feel bad for you.

  • @realbadbav you know why Eric Clapton made this song, and why i do not really understand the lemmy part... and do not feel bad for me! i'll stick to what i said :)

  • Is it just me, or is the music and video a little out of sync?

  • The songs these guys sing reminds me of the concents in Neal Stephenson's book, Anathem.

In there, the monks are scholastic, their work based on science, not religion or dogma.

This music puts his words about the mathematical beauty of music into reality.

One does not have to be a religious person to appreciate it.

  • love Gregorian. My friend saw their poster for the first time and freaked out saying they've gotta be Illuminati. I LOL'd so hard. He said they got good songs :)

  • Are the Gregorian really monks or it's just an act? They look and sing so great, I love them!

    :-)

  • @Scarletface08 No, they're not

  • This video makes me want to become a nun and life in a monastery :)...

  • What fucking matters is that they are hilarious.

  • very nice, always enjoyed their music.... when i pass only this group will be playing on my funeral

  • "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever. Amen."

If you have a loved one who has passed on, don't be sad - for they go to rejoin the Lord, in eternal peace. Imagine how much sweeter the reward will be, when we depart this life, and reunite with our loved ones - in bliss.

  • THIS MUSIC MAKES ME CRY,I REMEMBERMY CHILD WHO IS IN HEAVEN,

    IT IS POROFOUND.

  • why does churches and its traditions look demonic?

  • @dapithapon Es un videoclip, ninguna orden de monjes tienes túnicas rojas o azules, ni fuego en incensarios

  • @Steelvg10 can you speak english? amigo?

  • @dapithapon Can try it. I say that this video it´s a movie music only. The real monks has no dress with red and blue colors.

  • @Steelvg10 oh, I see. and english is good man

  • nice one,,, you make any song more interested, long live!!

  • Religion aside, this still sounds amazing. It's almost better than the original.

  • when the heart of man is filled with hate, he shall release unto his world his angels, and his angels will carry his wisdom across the land to the masses, and should the masses not head it, he shall wipe us from the face of the earth and there will be tears in heaven, his, and ours.ive not a "christian"...i am simply one who believes there is something more out there...prove me wrong.

  • @toddlicht "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

    -Revelation 21:4-

  • @silentobservor that isnt really proof...

  • love& peace, this planet would be much better place...

  • very cool and amazing

  • Thank you for the music!

  • Eric Clapton loves it for sure. This song is just wonderful.

  • this is my favourite song ;]

  • I heard of them for the first time today and I love their music.

  • all looks very satanic to me..!

  • @SovereignBeing I don't know if it looks satanic but I think cult might be what you are looking for. To me it reminds me of what the early church hierarchy might have worn...such as priests or pharisees.

  • @Dragonlarva when the illuminati etc do their blood rituals and ceremonial sacrifices they were black/red hooded robes... like these... i expected a small child to be laid on the alter at any moment..!

whoops ! i may have ruined this video for others.. who enjoy such things..

  • @SovereignBeing actually the only thing you are ruining is the appreciation people have for traditional styles of music. I raised a eyebrow too when I first discovered these guys, but rather than lashing out I researched their origins. The early church hierarchy wore long robes such as these to keep warm in the cold stone temples that the lived in, and Religion (and cults) adopted the style for their own ceremonial purposes.

  • @Dragonlarva - i wasnt lashing out it was said in jest if anything..! hence the !!!'s! perhaps it triggered me.. learn to discern the tone behind the words and perhaps you wont take things the wrong way in future...

  • @SovereignBeing ya know.. thats just a dumb thing to say...

  • love the music

  • VERY GOOD SONG

  • Lindaaaaa

  • wonderfull wonderfull....oooooo this is my music...

helemaal het einde...dit is zo mooi!!!

    rillingen...rillingen!!!!

  • wonderfull

  • Confusing Heaven with Paradise!!!

  • @headshota1989 tis the same thing, is it not? :-)

  • In Heaven, there are no tears, nor is there sorrow or crying. That which we mourne today is but a fleeting thing in God's Master Plan. Death is but another path that is inevitable. Be not afraid of it, for we will meet again in Paradise.

  • Someone's missing the point. There can not be "tears in heaven," because in order to have tears there must be tear ducts, which means a physical form, which by definition of Christian theology can not happen in heaven because only spiritual beings inhabit heaven. Second tears mean sadness which again can not happen in heaven because the spirit is in the presence of God. Cute idea for a song though.

  • @4sargon hm....it does make sense. you are really smart. joke.

  • @4sargon This song shows the terrible grief a father who lost his son, so, the heaven may have tears because of the death of somebody innocent and pure, this is poetry, this is a soul crying out and suffering, why do we need to be rationals when it shows just feelings and suffering?

  • @4sargon k listen pal. The point of the song is emotional pain and suffering. And, in the Christians POV, the Tears Of Heaven is our Rain. Thunder, the past souls bowling, lighting, a match being struck, ect ect ect. This is not meant to be taken Literally. Like many other artists and songs, the meaning is hidden within the words and spoken in the background.

  • @4sargon Se trata solo de una licencia poética, no hay que darle tantas vueltas joder

  • @4sargon

It would appear that you're the one missing the point. Aside from the obviously metaphorical meaning of the song's lyrics, the actual line is "I know there'll be no more tears in heaven", so Clapton wasn't even suggesting that there would be tears in heaven. In fact, he meant exactly the opposite. Thinkbeforeyouwritekthnxbai

  • wow....wonderful... O.O

  • this song remember my father he died 10years ago and i cant forgat i miss hime i cant live inymore and my family dont wants tu se mee pleas helme

  • eric clapton wrote the song, i hope all of you are under 18 even though that's not enoguh reason to don`t know

  • this is the perfect sound for this song

  • This version of a magnificent song. Trancends the earthly and reaches in to the Spirit. It is Powerful and Incredibly moving.

  • @oldtl345

I agree with your comment sir...!

  • Eric Clapton wrote this song in memory of his little son who died accidentally.

Just to let know to these mystic men around here....

  • lyk dis song.

  • Hermoso video y muy hermosa la cancion, me gusta mucho la musica Gregoriana.

  • soul food

  • it sounds nice, but it loses all the emotions it had from the original. he wrote it for his son..

  • from wich album is this song?

  • they look like a cult lol

  • ein sehr schönes video

  • who are these ppls?!

  • gregorian, a music project that came out of enigma

  • Who wrote it does not matter, what matters is in heaven or earth, there are tears.

  • my friend, when we are with God, we wont cry anymore =D in heaven we wont cry, we wont get sick nothing of the bad stuff. Jesus cried for those who doesnt wanna be with God.

  • @Nemmefes could not of said it better,, Jesus must cry daily, i always thought everytime it rains, those are the tears of Jesus and his angels.

  • Go to hell you idiot. Read something about the song before drawing your conclusions about its meaning. And stop preaching about you whinny god.

  • @ConstantineThe1 not to be a smartass but, when i preach about the Lord, and when I believe in Him, I wont go to hell... There are 2 kind of man. 1 kind say: Lord Your will will be done'. and a second where the Lord say to: your will will be done.'

  • And the third who say 'Fuck you idiot'?

  • @ConstantineThe1 No they are the same group as the second.

  • @ConstantineThe1 whats the matter about the lyrics sir..? maybe your point about this line...! *Cause I know I just can't stay Here in heaven...? am I right? and this line too.. *Would you know my name If I saw you in heaven Will it be the same If I saw you in heaven I must be strong, and carry on Cause I know I don't belong Here in heaven maybe your a christian,,,? am I right? ^_^
  • @2012knightstemplar and dont forget hell to you no even a devil may cry when they lose a loved one or something.

  • @2012knightstemplar : Eric Clapton did. After he lost a kid, I think.

  • @pantl Your correct he did write this after his son died.

  • @2012knightstemplar

Actually according to the Christian belief, no tears will be shed in heaven.

  • @techie3484 Tears of joy than maybe :)

  • Eric Clapton wrote it after his five year old son fell to his death from a number of stories up in a building.

  • @2012knightstemplar And tears are words waiting to be written.

  • @2012knightstemplar and the fact that you sound kind of gay pretending to be deep and sentimental. Sorry, I be trollin'.

  • I want that outfit

  • I think its a Snuggie. Look into it.

  • 90% of Gregorians songs are remakes of someone elses songs. Led Zepelin, Clapton etc. If you bothered to research before commenting you would know that.

  • They are Gregorian Monks that started to bring chants; that are seldom heard outside of monastairies, to the people at large. They have also learned Secular songs; such as this, and sing them in Gregorian style, to show its timelessness.
