"and whilst the highest point is only a bit over 500m high, you descend to virtually sea level each time - so a typical ride has up to 1000m of height loss"
@mikecawsey I have seen people doing uplift on Dunkery itself - but most of the trails up there would probably be more fon on an AM bike than a dedicated DH rig...there's definitely stuff hidden away in teh woods towards Minehead too!
Hi captainslow - thanks for the comments - your Stumpy FSR is the perfect bike for this kind of riding! If you'd like to get out and explore some trails like this (and better!) please have a look at the Singletrack Safari website for more info! Also have you had a look at our youtube channel? We've got nearly 50 videos online now....
fantastic video. I wish I could this! I live in devon, but wouldnt know where to go to try something like this. Would a 2010 stumpjumper fsr be OK for this kind of riding?
@kevsurf2003 Hi Kev - thanks for the comment! Well, it's my job to show people where the trails are...if you want a day seeing Exmoor's best singletrack I could take you out on a great ride! Whilst our website talks about week-long holidays we are based nearby, so can easily guide you for a day or weekend! Have a look at the singletracksafari website for more idea of what we do! Cheers, Martin

@mikecawsey LOL - no but do a big loop from Minehead and you will normally do 4 big climbs - easy to rack up anything from 1000 to 1300m of climbing!

@SingletrackSafari Thanks for the info, might go and have a nose around this weekend. I live near Bideford, but usually end up going to Wales biking.
All mountain suits me fine, have an all-mountain bike, although I prefer the down-mountain!
Wish you every success with your business. Cheers.
