In a programme that comprised many beautiful pieces all of which were sung to a level of perfection that we have long come to expect from KCC, this simple hymn was, for me, the highlight! Thank you Kings, Dr Westbury and Mrs Alexander (not forgetting the BBC)!!
@pjdonagh I agree. I was at Canterbury Cathedral on Good Friday where this was the offertory hymn at Evensong. So much better than some of the largely unknown hymns one often has to suffer.
