  • so, why u are using hat? xD

  • I just demoed this guitar at guitar center! Its very unique and fun to play!

  • dude that guitar is fucking sick

  • I'm getting an ESP LTD mp600 CANT WAIT!!

  • You are one lucky man.

  • I like the lead tone for this

  • how much does it cost im 10 and learning havent ted yet but my dads going to get me an electric. i think tht one is too expensive but its a real beauty

  • @StarProductions1000 it cost $700 when it was new. I don't think they make this exact model anymore, but you can get a similar guitar for $400-600.

  • @jaywalker512 so what guitar can u get thats really similar??

  • @jaywalker512 Did the EMG's come with it?

  • @DeatrusTV Yes

  • does the floyd stay in tune well?

  • @blskeith as long as you arent ridiculously hard on it, yes. I haven't had any problems with it

  • I like emg 81 and 60 better tone

  • your so good mate you bloody deserve that guitar if not better

  • it is a beautiful guitar man, really like it!! =D

  • I just boght the same guitar and got it for 470$. I am just testing it now ad so far so good!

  • is this guitar heavy weight wise?

  • @ComfortablyNumbAgain it's heavier than most guitars, but its not nearly as heavy as say, a mahogany les paul. i

  • i have the samee oneee bro(:

  • i really like the warm sound that it makes, it's great for clean settings.

  • @2BOunCE2 Yea, I like it clean too. It's just not a sparkling fender-type clean.

  • i just got the exact one todayy!(:

  • Yo Is the weight balanced with the neck and body and is it heavy

  • @XRGDARKN3SS pretty well balanced, it's not neck heavy for sure. The body is kinda heavy but not too much... it is made of mahogany so...

  • Does it handle drop B and stuff?

  • @TheAwesomeMetalhead I'd imagine so, but I don't tune down that far.

  • awsome guitarrist!

  • I got a closet full of smashed guitars like the one you have, I just smash them all when im done with them..... so yah!!! hahaha JK i never picked up a guitar in my life....

  • @BoomToThePowerofBoom

What the hell kind of comment was that?

... Like really that was just the most random and out of place comment ive ever read.

    What do i do now?

  • @titanwar990

WOW come down, idk ill have to ask my friend the one who posted that comment if it really bothers you that badly.

  • Just ordered mine cant wait :P!!! i also bought a Peavey 6505 :PP

  • @badboy5038 sweet. hopefully i'll be getting an oldschool carvin x100b from the 80's soon :p

  • just oredered mine :P cant wait!!!

  • Any idea which is the 81 pick up and which is the 85?

  • @fu7ur3w0rld bridge is 81 neck is 85

  • Ive got 3000 dollars for some new stuff... Like an amp and a new guitar... And that foot pedal thing that changes the pitch and shit... I need help deciding on what stuff and what kind of stuff to get... I dont usually pick it out myself... Btw 5/5 nice guitar

  • @austinstreetskater well if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

  • @austinstreetskater try some ESP signatures there really nice and often more appeal than the bog standard stuff. my personal favourite is the KH-2 . but be weary that if you play live and have a signature you'll be classed as a wannabe ... im just saying. For amps i normally go for the line 6 amps because there tone is more metal and a real nice amp to have. And for pedals i would go for the weeping demon ibanez pedal, its so sweet. Hope it helped. PS this is my personal opinion, its up to you

  • @xBLOODXfalcolnx thanks. ill look into em. :)

  • Neck-Through?

  • @jeserty6 no, it's a set neck. glued in but shaped to look+feel like a neck through.

  • you need to change the title to "esp mh401 guitar porn". Now i need a napkin. I want to learn that cool thing you did at 3:08. Nice dude

  • sweet man! just bought this exact one on ebay (except blue)brand new for 560 cdn!

  • You my friend are the man! Nice playing!

  • DAMN! ITS SO COOOOOOL! (Y)

  • Dude where did u get that its a awsome guitar!

  • some music store in florida :p

  • Crap

  • sweet one of my guitars is just like that but except its green and d-tunded

  • i got mine for xmas same guitar but green its amazing gratz!

  • so sick dude i wish i was u haha

  • Sucks i went to order this and they are all out of stock! They claim that the 401 is being discontinued (means they stoped making them) so i had to get one used but it was like new so it shouldnt be to bad. Sorry guys who r looking at buying one );

  • That's a very nice guitar... I currently have an Ibanez RGR321eX, Ibanez JS100 and I'm planning to get a fixed bridge ESP... any reccomendations on one thats similar to this?

  • Well you could go with any of the MH-NT series ESP guitars, they are essentially the same as regular MH series guitars (like this one), but they have a fixed bridge instead.

  • whats the difference between the mh401 and the mh401 qm?

  • it looks really light.

  • it's not really. Its not terribly heavy but it's definitely heavier than say, a strat or a basswood ibanez.

  • god people so worried about image no one cares that your wearing a hoodie or whatever and if they do, then they are stupid. Nice guitar I'm thinking of getting that one

  • yeah, actually its not higher quality. mh-401 has fr-style not licenced fr like mh-400 has. but it´s pretty much the same.

  • Awesome guitar! is there any difference between the mh-400 and the mh-401 only because i love the red and cant decide!

  • The tremolo on the 401 is higher quality than on the 400, but other than that they are the same.

  • I forgot, beautiful guitar!

  • You should change the pickups to DiMarzio Evolutions

Hell, you will notice the difference from actives

  • Thanks for the suggestion, but I like my EMG's just the way they are :)

  • @jaywalker512

Alright , have you ever tried the EMG 85 in the bridge?

If you haven't , you should, it is badass

  • Na, havent tried it. Might give it a try sometime but I'm too lazy to do the work at this moment :p

  • @jaywalker512

Alright dude, hope one day you will give it a shot, I know you will be pleased

    Cheers

  • Yep, thanks bro, I'll let you know how I like it whenever I give it a try.

  • veeery sexy 5/5

  • awesome guitar man im getting that purple one without the trem for christmas so good to know what itll sound like

  • maybe learn to play something on it ? having good guitar it's not everything >.>

  • maybe learn to not be an asshole? I am plenty capable of playing it.

  • @OstryRuchacz ass hole he happens to play pretty bad ass so go fuck your boy freind

  • wow , how intelligent and polite :> you have something more intelligent to say ?;D before you do that ,please, take care about your english ;]

  • i really wanna get this one tonight but i also wanna get this jackson dinky dkmg TR but idk which one im havin a hard time

  • get both lol. nah jk but if you could choose get this guitar i got one to and i have not been un pleased yet and its total worth the money

  • what do u think about this guitar not having a licensed rose?

  • Well I did some research and apparently it is a kind of licensed FR, just a higher quality one than most.

  • This guitar or the Ibanez xpt700 (Xiphos) ?

  • The trem on this guitar is definitely better than the Edge 3 on the Ibanez. Other than that, its really up to you.

  • How often you change batteries of an EMG?

  • I havent changed them yet so... :p

  • how much do these cost?

  • this one was $699

  • HOT GUITAR, MAN!

  • why does your basement have a big window?

  • it's not completely underground, half of it is above, the window is pretty much exactly at ground level.

  • I don't play electric but thats a nice guitar, and I especially like your blankets..... oh and you're pretty damn good at playing too.

  • damn... that is a dope axe bro

  • Comment removed

  • i have a question whats the difference between a 401qm and the mh 1000 fr. Theres no visual difference to me can anyone tell me the difference

  • plus, the mh 1000 has got abalone bindings all aruond the guitar, and original floyd rose. Mh1000 is also supposed to be better constructed, but this is not always true.

The original floyd rose, in my opinion, is not that important, and you can change it later, if you want to. And the guitar is nicer without the abalone bindings. So, I'd buy the ltd 401. I played both and noticed almost no difference. Maybe the 1000 is a bit more comfortable.

  • Mine should be here next week. Looking forwards to it :)

  • I've been looking at this and the mh-1000 which is like.....200 dollars more. But all the specs are the same so I dont know why

  • theyre pretty much exactly the same guitar, the mh-1000 just looks a little nicer because it has pearloid binding.

  • Okay. Someone also said the mh-1000 has a locking nut. This one doesnt?

  • They both do.

  • omg. then people are retards. jesus. Im getting this then. Fuck the mh-1000.

Thanks a lot. Beautiful color and playing btw.

  • No problem, enjoy the guitar :)

  • i think the mh 1000 is a full neck thru, with a real original floyd...that and the abalone are the only differences....i'd go for an mh-401 no trem!

  • Na, according to the ESP site the mh1000 is still just a set-thru, and it does have a different trem but its not an OFR, its called a Floyd Rose 1000 or something.

  • FR1000 is the same trem as the other but just made in korea. OFR has different metals in it. Practicaly the same.

  • cool

  • how long have you been playing

  • about 1.5 years at the time of this video.

  • a year and a half? i dont believe you comon...even with 8 hour practice a day, you dont do arpeggios that fast...admit it you played when you were young or something

  • No, I really have only played for about 2 years now. At the most I practice 1-3 hours a day, but lately I havent been practicing much at all. I guess I just picked it up quick :/

  • @PiercingTruth Your a smart man....don't believe him. He's been playing for over 20 years since he was a young kid and selling guitars too. Problem is he sells guitars that ain't what they are supposed to be.

  • Are the pickups noisy?

  • nope, not at all.

  • So I guess the noise that I hear when you don't play is coming from the amp or some effect? It doesn't have a push/pull coil right? And it's good when you upload a review for a guitar, to show us the clean sound :) I'm thinking of getting a guitar like this

  • most likely my amp, yes. no, there is no push/pull coil tap. The clean sound is acceptable, but these pickups certainly arent meant for it.

  • looks amazing

    what amp?

  • in the video Im using a custom patch on a Behringer X V-Amp modeler, into the power section of a Fender Frontman 212r

  • i'm guessing these will work in the m100fm?

  • ya dont they make it with the string through body

  • yes sir. buying mine tomorrow.

  • nice

  • whats the difference between that and just the m-401

  • the floyd is different and the 401 doesnt come in red, and thats about it.

  • actually the mh has a contour front while the M is just flat at the front

  • only $700??? dude! this guitar costs 830 euros in europe!

  • haha i prefer the white binding compared to the abalone binding on the mh 1000 it just looks better

  • where did u buy this

  • do you know if these guitars sound good in drop A sharp?

  • im sure it would be fine with the proper string guage, but I dont tune that low so no, I cant tell you how it sounds.

  • ahh i see!

i play with 12gauge strings anyway, so it should be fine.

i jsut need a new guitar! and these look pretty legit. too bad no guitar stores around here sell LTD's. or even ESPs for that matter.its a great company for guitarists that play deathcore/hardcore like me.

  • lol no matter how much I.............. whammy

  • have u had any experience of the MH250QM mate? is it anything like that sexy guitar u got there?

  • havent played it, but from what i understand its pretty much the same, with just some cheaper parts. ESP pickups, agathis body, etc. Also the paint is different of course... but other than that its pretty much just a lower end version of this, which is pretty obvious already :p

  • thx man, well done for replying so quick subbed 5 stars and favourited!

  • thanks :)

  • yea the mh250 looks sweet but thats like a extra 200 dollars and i already put the mh100 on layaway so yea lol

  • ah okey then lol. let me know how you like it.

  • alright will do ill put a vid on when i get it

  • thats a nice looking guitar dude :) ...im getting the MH-100QM see thru blue....is it a good guitar u think?????

  • it looks alright (mind you i havent played it), if you have the money the mh-250 would probably be a bit better, but i dont think the mh-100 would be bad.

  • hey, i have a question

would you know if the Schecter Omen FR has the same Floyd Rose as yours?

cause the website says it's a Floyd Rose Special, and i wanted to know if they were the same

  • well from looking on the website, the shape is a bit different so no i dont think it is exactly the same.

  • :(

guess i'm gonna have to buy one

    thakns tho :D

  • your fingers look like spider legs when you play it's crazy

  • lol ty

  • np man your fuckin sick man i wish i had that shit :P

  • hey dude can you help me out? i cant decide betwwen this and an Ibanez xiphos xpt700. I know the pickups and tremolo is better on this guitar but is the neck comparible to an Ibanez neck?

  • well luckily Ive played that guitar as well. Personally I like this neck more. Its slightly thicker (not much though, maybe a millimeter or two) than the xiphos neck (wizard 2) and the frets are bigger, so its a little easier to play for me.

  • dude the neck on esp and ibanez are soo much alike.. i would take this one anyday though, cos its tremollo murders the xpt.. also the EMG 81's and 85's kill those shitty ibanez inf pickups.. the xpt isnt very comfotable to play because of the body shape.. and the necks are heavy.. and weight the neck down when standing up.. soo this is definatly a far better guitar.. build and parts

  • Of course all the reviews on an ESP guitar are gonna be from a sweeper. v.v

  • your point? ESP generally caters towards the shreddy metal players :p

  • I'm just saying :P Your playing is good, I'm just trying to find a review from someone who's not playing shreddy metal on this guitar. It seems like a good guitar, but I'm not sure how well it'd hold up for Prog metal.

  • What I heard is that the Floyd Rose Special is a real floyd but made in china. so it is cheaper

  • eh, wouldnt surprise me. it works well and as long as it does that i dont really care where its made.

  • damn!!!

that´s what a guitar should sound like!!!

i´m going to buy the esp ltd mh 250 nt with the same colour...i gues that luke kilpatrick of parkway drive plays the same model, like it ^^

  • Awesome playing! I have been trying to sweep pick for a long time now but i just can't get it lol. Whats a good way or song to practice it?

  • start off very slowly and play with a metronome. of course thats what everyone will tell you, but thats how you do it. you have to make sure you have the proper technique too or else it will become a lot more difficult. hard to describe exactly how to do it, but if you do it wrong for a while like i did eventually you'll figure out the right way :p

  • lol alright. thx I'll keep trying it/

  • try only picking the first note in the scale and hammering on the rest of them. then work ur way up

  • what tuning r u in?

  • i got it for 400 bucks :O

  • howd ya pull that off?

  • trade in - alexi-600 and my dad got a friend to make the 4th of july 15% off at guitar center coupon to work on the esp via musicians friend

  • nice. whyd you wanna get rid of the alexi?

  • neck is too big, i cant sweep well, but i can sweep on my dads ec-1000

  • ah. i havent played one so i wouldnt know how it compares.

  • ok ok ok.. is the neck thin..? can u sweep well on it? also how is the action

  • neck is very thin and easy to sweep on. action is incredibly low.

  • ima get this. if i don't like it. i am blaming you

  • well if you dont like it, theres probably something wrong with it. or you're just retarded ;)

  • i really need to know this... how is the bridge... so far the "Floyd Rose Special" is all that i'm questioning a new guitar i'm about to purchase... does it go out of tune easily? are they're any problems with this bridge at all?

  • its been fine for me. stays in tune fine, only thing that annoyed me is that the finish comes off pretty easy if you sweat a lot. of course that would happen with any bridge over time, but it started to come off pretty quick on mine. the good news is its a really bright chrome color underneath, so if you just strip the rest of the finish off it will look good as new XD

  • those are active pickups?

  • yep. emg 81 and 85

  • is the ltd mh-50 any good?

  • havent played it so its hard to say.

  • you pushed me over the edge man. I'll be pulling the trigger on one of these bad boys in august.

you and I have similar playing styles, although I use just a tad less gain

  • glad you like it :) its definitely a wonderful guitar. i guess maybe its the video making it seem like im using more gain? i only use 50% available, id be happy down to as low as 30% but i like what ive got now :p
