Is this real can it be done?... sorry for my noob question, i dont currently have an iPhone.

but my question is... can you access html5 versino of youtube via safari browser on iphone and actually watch videos ??? or does it have to be done through the mobile version of youtube?

I can't get YouTube to freaking play on my iPhone. It only works via the app, the website (even with HTML5 enabled) will NOT play videos! So annoying!!

@AdamKaoru They removed this from the final release. It still plays in full screen though without using the YouTube app.

Not for me it doesn't. Even on 3.x it didn't for me. Ever since YouTube did their redesign it's been fucked.

@AdamKaoru This was one of the betas of iOS 4. It never worked on 3.x and is not in the final iOS 4 release. In iOS 4 you can still play from the page, just not 'inline" it will popup a full screen window, but you can do it without the app.

Looks cool, but the volume bar in full screen mode should be placed at the bottom, not in the middle.

It's an example of fully support HTML5 video in the later builds of safari.
