Slave of the system not only follow their golden rules. Because he who has no gold makes no rules. Slaves of the system make others the gold and they the feudal lord master of the new age make the rules for them.
Slaves of their own system built. Thereby it will sell but what was sold. The customers were not buying into. They were building nothing worth their money, corporate professional.
What needed the world changed? Sending their heads out of warp drive is what is needed.
