Yes, I was aware of the fact that atheletes of other nationalities go off to play for their country in the olympics, a practice I am not particularly enamored by. And whatever good things China does (God only knows what that may be), it tends to be offset by things like their human rights abuses, support of third world dictators, pollution, oppression, Taiwan, censorship and general douchiness. But that's just the government; Chinese citizens are fine people, just trying to get by like everyone.

I never said America was perfect; far from it. But the social injustice and poverty in our country is not a human rights issue like say, Tibet is. The only times we get "nosy" are (usually) when there are human rights issues involved, mostly because other countries, the ones who laugh at us, are too filled with pussies to do anything about it.
