look at the pictures rockstar has put alot of effort like you can see graphics finally some fun holding 2 guns long one and pistol/uzi i think this game is gonna be badass and if they could add driving cars swimming plus swimming under water and most important is multiplayer something like free roam deathmatch and all that stuff but they should allow other peoples in car use ak47 and long guns shooting from car only for people who not driving and for driving short guns.

You guys are being way to hard. First of all, yeah....it's been 7 years. Max Payne would change a lot in that time especially being how F'ed in the head he is. Second of all NOIR has no setting, it doesn't need to be gritty dirty New York city all the time. Noir is more of a theme or mood. Max Payne for me was about the story and it's seedy characters, not New York City. I think Rockstar is making a bold move but it can be good. Besides Rockstar generally makes pretty good games. These game producers sucks, they did the same thing to Resident Evil and also another game recently left 4 dead. They remove the old theme, and make it during the day in some tropical place and upset all the fans. I serious hope this is not the new max payne and there just joking. my biggest scare is that the game will have multiplayer which means there is a giant chance that it will another generic shooter because developers seem to think every game has to have multiplayer in order to be good. but i hope it turns out true to the series and maybe it will fall in the lines of an improved "stranglehold" type game and not a "gears of war" type game

Yeah, I agree totally, it bothers me so fuckin bad that its not the streets of NY, and in the middle of Brazil somewhere, I loved Max Payne 1 and 2 so much, just the deep feeling of the storyline, and the action, and bullet time was the shit, but I loved it the most because of the storyline, and Rockstar took it away, I swear if the actual gameplay and story doesn't make up for this bullshit Brazilian plot, then I'll never buy another rockstar game again!

You guys are being way to hard. First of all, yeah....it's been 7 years. Max Payne would change a lot in that time especially being how F'ed in the head he is. Second of all NOIR has no setting, it doesn't need to be gritty dirty New York city all the time. Noir is more of a theme or mood. Max Payne for me was about the story and it's seedy characters, not New York City. I think Rockstar is making a bold move but it can be good. Besides Rockstar generally makes pretty good games. Wait and see

First they take one of the greatest stories ever told in the history of video games and completely ass rape it to create one of the shitiest movies I've ever seen. Then, THEN, they have the balls to make us wait 7 years for Max Payne 3. Then they finally reveal that they are in the process of making it. Then they delay it. Then they delay it AGAIN - and for a year and a half all they have to show for this game is a few screen shots? Not even a trailer? Somethings not right here folks...

These game producers sucks, they did the same thing to Resident Evil and also another game recently left 4 dead. They remove the old theme, and make it during the day in some tropical place and upset all the fans. I serious hope this is not the new max payne and there just joking. I'm not completely leery as of yet about what they're doing seeing some of the gameplay shots I'm seeing now...he looks like a broken down man out for revenge. Seeing as what's happened to Max Payne in his life this could be an interesting twist, and an interesting way to bring him back into the city. Don't lose faith yet.

my biggest scare is that the game will have multiplayer which means there is a giant chance that it will another generic shooter because developers seem to think every game has to have multiplayer in order to be good. but i hope it turns out true to the series and maybe it will fall in the lines of an improved "stranglehold" type game and not a "gears of war" type game

Remedy (i believe) are making Alan Wake their new Max Payne an i also believe that they could care less about the direction Rockstar takes Max Payne 3. I cant wait for it to come out. To me it was the action that made the game. I mean a voice is just a voice... Who cares?
