It's a fake. You can see the texture mapping going a bit wrong on the moons surface. Also you can see the polygons in the astronauts visor. Higher polygon count and better texture mapping and you might have had me! :D

I think this video is fake, due to the blue colour dominant that is absent in the Apollo 11-17 missions and also in the other Apollo 20 footages and the blue halo that we can see at the horizon level. Another point is that the buggy is too stable and flat compared to the Apollo 17' s.

It looks more believable as a full moon nigtht EVA on a snowed terrain.

An interesting thing about all this is that William Rutledge claims that the Apollo 20 mission landed at the target site on August 16, 1976. The Russian mission Luna 24 landed on the moon on August 18, 1976. Of, course they say it landed on a different part of the moon. Makes me wonder if the Luna 24 carried the rover that was used to make scientific readings of the derelict ships and actually landed before August 18, 1976 as reported. Curiously, the Russians sent out several Luna missions.

I've been going on about this Lunokhod which can be seen in one of the videos. It would be worth trying to chase down the time, and lauch date of the Russian rocket which launched this to the moon. At least then we would know how the probe got there?
