  • Mr Lucas didnt need the campbed

  • THANK YOU SO SO SO SO Much for putting this on you tube. I read this book in 1986 and also watched the VHS and then when we first got sky tv it was shown on there in half hour slots I also had this book as a GCSE text thanks for a wonderful trip down memory lane, the old houses, registration numbers plus the Thames TV beginning quality tv and so much appreciated I have spent a wonderful saturday night down memory lane

    Can't thank you enough !! x x x x x x x x xx x x

  • Oh no, Pandora was much hotter the way i imagined her. LOL

  • such bad actors...

  • @rubberflag they are not bad actors.... adrian mole is similar to harry potter in looks, only better at acting. adrians mother is the mother of ron weasly also in harry potter (a coincidence perhaps? =p) but seriously, these are brilliant actors, bert baxter was an extremely famous actor and considering there was no high - tech avatar-like computer graphics in those days (late 1980s) this is a brillian tv show.

  • in the book pandora seems much... better.

  • @muddyelam

yup, so many lost nights dreaming

  • Pandora.. why?

  • i dont like this ,adrian is agly, while i was reading the book i imagine him comletly difrent

  • @DaViDVoGuEkumite455 Yeah, so did I. In the books I think he is actually alright looking, otherwise how would he have had a girlfriend like Pandora? XD

  • @BigHeartedBrit xaxaxaxa yea :D

  • The video is divided into three parts .. Pd: Sorry for my bad english

  • It's set in 1981-82 but broadcasted in 1985

  • Yeah,it was early 80s, cos there's a funny scene where Adrian bursts into his parents' bedroom and tells them Britain's gone to war with the Falklands, and his parents leap out of bed in a panic, and then Adrian explains the Falklands are like 5,000 miles away!

  • Hahaha That was the classic scene, but it was from 'growing pains' His dad thinks its of the Shetlands

  • I think it was '84ish

  • it was first broadcast in September 1985
