Whats the battery life when using such as Word and listening music? Im in need for a computer for my 3 years of college. Can u recommend this? I need alot of music on it, and beasicly im just gonna use it for net-surf, word, excel, maybe some small movie editing. The weight is just fine i believe since its so small, but what is battery life on the thing? Can u recommend is for college studies?
Yes I think The eee pc 1000 HD model is the best for you good price and quility and huge space for word,excel,music and movie editing.Also with its atom processor it runs windows vista or windows xp perfectly fine.Plus the normal battery included in the box will last 4-7 hours with normal usuage like surfing the net .Thanks For Commenting

There is no fans at all so it does not produce any noise but still running very cool.

Saw that amazon sold it. Tho with only a 3 cell battery, which is like 3 hours of battery life. Less perhaps.
