In this verse of the Qur'an, God, the Mala'ikah and the Muslims have been mentioned as sending Durood upon Muhammad. Durood Shareef is actually a Dua in praise of Muhammad. When God sends Durood and Salaams upon Muhammad, He is actually blessing him. When the angels and the Muslims send Durood and Salaams to Muhammad, they are actually showing God their respect for Muhammad.
Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect. Sura 33 (al-Ahzab, ayah 56[2]
We make the 12th really important because it was the day of his birth. And by the way the topic of sending kalam to a dead person. The prophet is alive in the grave, in the hadith it is stated that Allah S.W.T has made it HARAM upon the earth to touch the body of the prophet. In namaz when reciting Attahiyaat we say As salamo alayka ay yu han-nabi (oh prophet we send salam upon you). The importance of darood is mentioned in hadith and in the quran.
The sahabi would celebrate milad un nabi every day. On milad un nabi we recite the quran, Recite nasheeds and do dua. These are forms of zikr, and with the zikr we remember our noble prophet. Did the sahaba not listen to the recitation of the quran? Did the prophet not go to al Basari to listen to him recite Moula ya Sali? When people celebrate their birthdays they have a party and that however when it comes to celebrate the prophets birthday by doing zikr we say it is shirk nouzbillah.
How is it that this self proclaimed scholar says there is no better form of worship than Milad and yet the Prophet(SAW) , the SAHABA (raa) and many generations after them for 600yrs did not celebrate this ? DOES HE CLAIM TO KNOW MORE THAN the best of Muslims ? Did Allah(SWT) and his Rasool (SAW) forget (nosabillah) to tell Muslims about this important worship ?

1.The only way of worship accepted is that taught by Prophet (SAW)
2.The annual new Eid (Milad) is not a Sunnah of the Prophet(SAW) - neither he or the Sahaba or any generation 600yrs after the Prophet celebrated it ! - did they have less love for SAW or less knowledge ?
3. The birth date of SAW is not 100% as the Shias have a diff date but the 12th is definitely the date of SAW's death - the day his family, sahaba and all Muslim Ummah were in tears - the new Muslims are doing fireworks !!

May Allah guide you....Milad is a biddat (innovation) Prophet PBUH said follow me and my sunnah and the Sunnah of Abu Bakr and Umar. These noble sahaba never did any milad or anything like that. They are the ones who Allah gave the glad tiding of Jannat. This is an innovation and we need to refrain from it.

@Omarizationable As Muslims, we celebrate only two. eid ul-fitr and eid ul-Udh-ha. Other than these two occasions, we do not recognize or celebrate any other days in the year.
Of course, there are other occasions for which Islamic shari’ah dictates appropriate celebration, such as gathering for special meals during weddings or the birth of a child (aqeeqah). However, these days not specified as particular days in year;they are celebrated as they happen in the course of a Muslim’s life.

Of course u cannot celebrate the milad of Allah (swt) coz he is the creator of everything. But, how do u justify celebrating the milad of the prophet (saws), when he himself has not done it or ordered us to do it. What kind of twisted explanation is this trying to hide that celebration of milad is an innovation. There is no evidence to prove that milad was celebrated by the prophet or the caliphs. It is a clear innovation which started centuries later. It was narrated from Abu Qataadah al-Ansaari that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked about fasting on Mondays. He said: “On that day I was born, and on it the Revelation came to me.” Narrated by Muslim, 1162.

Why so many people accepts his weak reasoning about Milad in Nani. He basis his arguement on hidden knowledge behind certain ayah or even their interpretation. Thats it, otherwise everybody derives own interpretation on how they see the aya. But Islaam is clean cut for Muslims, the laws are straight and everybody know what to do to go to Paradise. this Shiekh promises cheap tickets or shortcuts to paradise.

Why should we not celebrate Milad, prophet MUHAMMAD(saw) has only prayed so much for his ummat and the day of judgement day he will be our saver from the fire of hell. So the least thing we can do is to celebrate our lovely prophets birthday..
@Perker786 Because celebrating birthdays is not what he taught. It is these innovations which will destroy Islam and people will try justify it by saying they do it out of love. The sahabas did not celebrate his birthday but their Islam was more perfect than all of ours and they were sucessful in the hereafter. If you really love him, then follow his teachings and do your best at forbiding evil acts in this world and enjoining good (just as the Sahabas did).

Sum pple dont understand why milad is performed. Nobody shud tawk about anything that they have no understanding of. There is NO Miladi on earth that will EVER say that any prophet is God! Milad does not mean praying to a prophet. It is a form of respect and Salaam to the prophet. How disgusting there are Muslims on earth who disrespect Allah's greatest gift to mankind. Once a sahabi asked prophet (salla Llahu 'alayhi wa sallam), why do you fast on a monday. Prophet answered, 'cause I was born on a monday.' Isn't it enough as a prove?? If friday can be a holiday,inter alia, because prophet Adam ('alayhi salam) was born, why shouldn't the day for which sake ALlah created this world be a 'holyday' ??
We muslims dont need any mullah or shiekh to explian to us the Quran. Allah says that the Quran is a guidance. We must know that we need to understand tand follow this guidance for us to please Allah. Please read the Quran in your own language, Allah is our teacher Allah will teach and explain the Quran to us.
All this mullah are trying to make money and fame and misleading the muslim ummah
In the Quran Allah says that, some people will be guided via quran and others will be misguided by quran. This should be enough as a prove that no one can study quran by himself. You're not even allowed to read a hadith without an 'ulama's presence so how can you study quran by yourself??
Also you must know that the prophet suffered injuries in battle, got sick, had to migrate to medina because the Quraish had planned to kill him, he did all this physically like a normal human, Allah did not airlift him to medina. You are Insulting your creator and the creator of the prophet.
@a1atif you have misunderstood the Quranic Ayaath, the ayaath does not mean that the matyrs or the Prophet is alive physically in the grave. Just use your brain and try to understand why should Allah keep him alive in the grave, is it not beneficial to have him alive on earth with us?? The quran says in many ayaaths that the prophet is just a man and will die and many prophets died before him.
Now why not ask Muhammed(pbuh) to come and save all if you?? Since he Is hazir nazir??? Muhammed(pbuh) can not save you because he cannot hear you, he is DEAD, Allah can save you because Allah never dies
This is not blind follow my dear SlaveofAllah08 .. this is all based on Quran and Sahih Ahadith .. the problem comes when some portrays you half a picture .. half of knowledge is a killer .. be neutral .. and then start researching on both viewpoints .. and make dua to Allah for right path .. you will InshaAllah be guided.

We make the 12th really important because it was the day of his birth. And by the way the topic of sending kalam to a dead person. The prophet is alive in the grave, in the hadith it is stated that Allah S.W.T has made it HARAM upon the earth to touch the body of the prophet. In namaz when reciting Attahiyaat we say As salamo alayka ay yu han-nabi (oh prophet we send salam upon you). The importance of darood is mentioned in hadith and in the quran.

The sahabi would celebrate milad un nabi every day. On milad un nabi we recite the quran, Recite nasheeds and do dua. These are forms of zikr, and with the zikr we remember our noble prophet. Did the sahaba not listen to the recitation of the quran? Did the prophet not go to al Basari to listen to him recite Moula ya Sali? When people celebrate their birthdays they have a party and that however when it comes to celebrate the prophets birthday by doing zikr we say it is shirk nouzbillah.

1.The only way of worship accepted is that taught by Prophet (SAW)
2.The annual new Eid (Milad) is not a Sunnah of the Prophet(SAW) - neither he or the Sahaba or any generation 600yrs after the Prophet celebrated it ! - did they have less love for SAW or less knowledge ?
3. The birth date of SAW is not 100% as the Shias have a diff date but the 12th is definitely the date of SAW's death - the day his family, sahaba and all Muslim Ummah were in tears - the new Muslims are doing fireworks !!

@Omarizationable As Muslims, we celebrate only two. eid ul-fitr and eid ul-Udh-ha. Other than these two occasions, we do not recognize or celebrate any other days in the year.
Of course, there are other occasions for which Islamic shari’ah dictates appropriate celebration, such as gathering for special meals during weddings or the birth of a child (aqeeqah). However, these days not specified as particular days in year;they are celebrated as they happen in the course of a Muslim’s life.

But, how do u justify celebrating the milad of the prophet (saws), when he himself has not done it or ordered us to do it. It is a clear innovation which started centuries later. Why so many people accepts his weak reasoning about Milad in Nani. He basis his arguement on hidden knowledge behind certain ayah or even their interpretation. Thats it, otherwise everybody derives own interpretation on how they see the aya. But Islaam is clean cut for Muslims, the laws are straight and everybody know what to do to go to Paradise. this Shiekh promises cheap tickets or shortcuts to paradise.

@Perker786 Because celebrating birthdays is not what he taught. It is these innovations which will destroy Islam and people will try justify it by saying they do it out of love. The sahabas did not celebrate his birthday but their Islam was more perfect than all of ours and they were sucessful in the hereafter. If you really love him, then follow his teachings and do your best at forbiding evil acts in this world and enjoining good (just as the Sahabas did).

Sura baqara aya 154: "And do not utter regarding those who are slain in Allah's cause as "dead", in fact they are alive, but it is you who are unaware". Allah is restraining to call martyrs as "dead". Can narrate various ref from Quran and SAHIH AHADEES in proving Prophet is not dead, but allowance of words count is not much here. If your so against celebration of birthday then first go crusade against all ordinary men on earth who celebrate their bdays, instead of crusading against Prophets birthday. Sum pple dont understand why milad is performed. Nobody shud tawk about anything that they have no understanding of. There is NO Miladi on earth that will EVER say that any prophet is God! Milad does not mean praying to a prophet. It is a form of respect and Salaam to the prophet. How disgusting there are Muslims on earth who disrespect Allah's greatest gift to mankind. If not for Prophet Muhammad SAW ther would be no Islam on Earth today. Only through him the Quran was given to ALL MANKIND.

Once a sahabi asked prophet (salla Llahu 'alayhi wa sallam), why do you fast on a monday. Prophet answered, 'cause I was born on a monday.' Isn't it enough as a prove?? If friday can be a holiday,inter alia, because prophet Adam ('alayhi salam) was born, why shouldn't the day for which sake ALlah created this world be a 'holyday' ??

In the Quran Allah says that, some people will be guided via quran and others will be misguided by quran. This should be enough as a prove that no one can study quran by himself. You're not even allowed to read a hadith without an 'ulama's presence so how can you study quran by yourself??

Also you must know that the prophet suffered injuries in battle, got sick, had to migrate to medina because the Quraish had planned to kill him, he did all this physically like a normal human, Allah did not airlift him to medina. You are Insulting your creator and the creator of the prophet.

@a1atif you have misunderstood the Quranic Ayaath, the ayaath does not mean that the matyrs or the Prophet is alive physically in the grave. Just use your brain and try to understand why should Allah keep him alive in the grave, is it not beneficial to have him alive on earth with us?? The quran says in many ayaaths that the prophet is just a man and will die and many prophets died before him.

the prophet had said not to follow the ways of the christians..
from what i can remember, milaad was first celebrated during the 7th century hijra by some king.. till 7th century, there is no evidence of milad whatsoever.. so it is definitely an addition to the deen.. ur comments
