  • Lord, I pray that you would reveal yourself in a greater way to your people. Continue to reconcile the world through those you have already reconciled to you! Do a mighty work and help your people grow up into the fullness of Christ! I also lift up Robert Morey to you, touch and overwelm him with your presence! In the name of Jesus! Amen!

  • people its very simple if you work 24 hours every day for the homeless en sick

give your money away to the poor a some of over 1 million dollars

pray en go to church everyday

never get angry jealous a thief murderer liar

end many more problems you do not have

in simple point of view bee like CHRIST (which is impossible)

but lets say if you could, end still if you deny god ore Jesus

YOU ARE LOST for ever !!!!!!

  • lolz this video reminds me of the bon jovi song "you give love a bad name" walk in the light

  • 1:16

  • What day should we go to church? Saturday or Sunday?

  • @TheMasterheadhunter - We can go to church service any day. I believe the question you are asking is this, "Has God done away with the Sabbath?" My simple answer is no. I can keep the Sabbath without going to a one hour service. Conversely, just because I go to a one hor service does not necessarily mean I kept the Sabbath.

  • didnt esau represent a nation?

  • @SE7EN163 Not in Romans 9. How do those deal where it says, "it is not of HIM that willeth"(vs.16) or "Nay but, O MAN, who art thou that repliest against God?"(vs.20)? Clearly it is speaking about an individual and not a nation.

  • This man is absolutely correct. Especially about the sloppy thinkers who are all mewly and wimpering. Trust me these are the same people who will not open the door to poor people or homeless or ex-cons or gay/lesbian but will boohoo over mistranslated scripture.

  • Jn.3:16-- "For God so loved the world....". People automatically assume that the word "world" means every single human being. Failing to see that there are different ways in which the term "world" is used, especially in John's writings, will lead to this confused exegesis.

Indeed, God would be completely just, holy, and righteous to exterminate every single human being at any moment. HE, has chosen to save an innumerable amount of people by His Grace alone.

  • I absolutely love this video......

    Thanks for posting BoT!!!

  • god is a asshole

  • I believe that God DOES love everybody. My understanding to me is that God is the ultimate parent and he has the biggest heart so therefore loves and can forgive everybody once they have done their part first. He can also forgive Satan. I believe once we have full filled our part and acheived the right to heaven then we too can forgive satan. This is my own understanding, i am aware other people may not agree.

  • @EmmaBorowy

This is why you are deceived. You are going by your own understanding, instead of based SOLEY upon God's understanding shown through His Word(The Bible).

  • but i could just as easily say that you are being decieved too. By going by the bible interpreting what the video explains rather than your own understanding? Which is more powerful to you? To me the understanding i percieve is more powerful that what the man explains in this video.

Just to state i am fully aware other people may not agree and may get offended to what i have just said.

  • @EmmaBorowy Find your "understanding" in the Bible..... Find anywhere in the Bible that says that God is everyone's Father, as opposed to only the Father of those who believe.

  • @EmmaBorowy "I believe that God DOES love everybody"

It doesn't matter what YOU believe. Read Psalm 5:5 on how God hates sinners everyday.

  • "The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth." - Psalm 11:5 ( KJV)

*mind you this is from the OT before we where under God's grace {through Jesus Christ}*

  • "Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice." - 1 Kings 10:9 ( KJV)

  • "To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ." - Romans 1:7 ( KJV)

"Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice." - 2 Chronicles 9:8 ( KJV)

  • "And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." 1 John 4:16 ( KJV)

"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver" - 2 Corinthians 9:7 ( KJV)

  • true, good vid, bro

    Levi

  • God is perfect, righteous and Holy in all His ways and attributes. "For God so loved the world..." YES, God loves everyone.

However, God's JUSTICE is also PERFECT. The LORD will NOT compromise one of His attributes for the sake of another (will not compromise perfect justice for the sake of His perfect love).

The demands of His justice were met in Christ. It's God's way or the hell way. There are millions of people whom God loves - in hell right now. Their choice - not God's.

  • I believe there are billions in hell (better understood as the grave) right now awaiting Christ's return.

It's not the sin that is judged, but the sinner.

  • God loves everyone in the sense that he has given all mankind the opportunity of salvation, the forgiveness of sins by Gods grace through faith in the atoning work of Jesus Christ. So in that sense God loved everyone even while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8).

  • Would this guy pick up the Samaritan?

Why God teaches the love to the enemies!

  • Should we hate some people and love just a group of others? What kind of teaching is that? Aweful. I do not agree with him. Why?

    Romans 5,8:

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

  • @targetforever Keywords: US and WE meaning the Elect. It doesn't say "them" or "everyone".

  • the bible does say god hates sinner's but what he said about john 3:16 was absolutely wrong. it made no sense. he completely twist the scripture. that is why you are supposed to take the whole chapter into consideration. v17, 18 "for god sent not his son into the world to condemn to the world, but that the world through him might be saved. he that beleiveth on him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already.."

he is CLEARLY talking about the whole world. including sinners

  • @vj5467 Any Greek Lexicon will tell you that "world" in John 16-17 is talking about believers. The believing WORLD will be saved. Jesus said in John 6:33 that he "giveth life unto the world". Now, is he saying that he gives eternal life to everyone or to just to those that God has elected as we read througout Scripture?

  • Great video. The guy is a little sarcastic but brings up some great points and clarifies some misconceptions about the nature of God (of our Bible). We're all grown adults and we should all respect the others' choice of religion in the end.

  • The evidence that proves that you have been saved or elected(whatever) by God, is in the change He did in you, not the change you did because man cannot change. Its the potter who molds the clay, not the other way around.

  • i am not a christian but this is a very good video. and i aurgue these same points with so called christians all the time and its very refreshing to see it coming from a christian.

  • Good video.

It seems like "evangelists" like to jump to one extreme to the other.

God's offer of Peace/forgiveness/reconcilition is offered to everyone. Everyone has the opportunity to accept it.

Remember Luke 15 (attitude of God)

I think the message "God loves you" can be very misleading to the humanistic mind. It exalts man in his pride.

The truth is that God not only loves you but He loves the person next to you and everyone else. Therefore He must Judge the world in righteousness.

  • P.S. So sorry for the removed comments.

  • So if we say that God doesn't love everyone because we aren't worthy of it. Aren't we taking our eyes off God and putting them on ourselves? Are we limiting God's ability to love the unlovable? Are saying that even though Jesus died for everyone, He didn't really love them? Are we saying that when we preach we should tell them, "God hates you until you believe." ? Did Jesus ever, on Earth, say, "I hate you." to the pharisees? Or rather did he express a righteous hatred for sin? God bless all.

  • It was so difficult to accept, but the only way to God is through Jesus. Does he love me? Well, the proof is my life changed. Alcohol and drugs had to go. I stopped alcohol, stopped drugs, then and only then did God come into my life. THEN and only then did he start showing me truths. We have to make a choice to stop sinning. Don't lie to yourself. I could not live with myself saying I believed when I kept on drinking! When you ask him for help, sin will suddenly make you miserable.

  • why then would Christ tell us to love those that hate us and to do good to them, if He isn't going to do the some. I understand what you said and I agree that God has those that He loves and those that He hates. I have know for some time now that Jn. 3:16 doesn't mean that He loves every one the word world is orderly for God so love the orderly His chosen people not the whole world.

    Sincerely Carlos

  • Once I was told that we have to be able to offend, 'cause the truth of the Gospel are very offensive to some people. Jesus himself offended the israelites priest because of his teachings.. There were also some people who believed him and some who didnt, and I presume that just as it is today, people who are not meant to believe... just hate the Word.

We are chosen ones... we were picked up from the man ppl in this world to be called sons of God. What an honor!!!

  • Mark 2:17 Jesus said; 'It is not the healthy who need the doctor, but the sick. I came to call not the upright, but sinners.'

  • Does God tell us to love our enemies when HE in fact "HATES" HIS enemies? This makes God a hypocrite, just like the pharisees that he chastised. Read Jesus words spiritually, not carnally. His words are spirit(Jhn 6:63), and are to be SPIRITUALLY discerned(1 Cor 2:14). A being who IS love(1 Jhn 4:8)cannot ever deal in human HATE. His wrath is poured out on all wickedness, but even in WRATH, he's MERCIFUL(Lam 3:32)

  • But you see because God is love therefore he must hate. I love babies therefore i MUST have abortion. God is rightousness therefore he must hate all workers of iniquity (Psalm 5:5). That doesn't make a God a hypocrit God also tells us not to take vengance because it is his Romans 12:19. We have to accept that Gods ways are better than ours.

  • God loves everyone, he just hates the things some do, he loves Satan who is the father of sinners, but by his righteous judgmental character he must punish those that disobey him, he would not create something just to hate it, but he will hate the things you do- not the person, he knows the world corrupts his children.

  • Did you even watch this video? The Bible is clear. God does NOT love everyone no matter what you choose to believe.

  • No surprises there. Some people are not loveable.

  • This man distorts the Word of God! I'm obvious he doesn't care about anybody! He wouldn't be so hateful if he didn't hate himself. This man is nothing more that a homosexual in the closet...distorting the Word of God to fit his own personal agenda! This type of blasphemy makes me sick to my stomach! I suggest you repent for your our sins and immorality so that you can love others as yourself. I can tell you have no love for yourself, because you are unable to love others.

  • Please provide the evidence to support your statements.

  • If Jesus didn't come to die for everyone, what do we make of this verse: For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of ALL MEN, ESPECIALLY OF THOSE WHO BELIEVE.

    -1 Timothy 4:10

I might be wrong and the guy on the video might be right, but Scripture never conflicts with other Scripture, so i'd like to know how this verse fits with the idea that Jesus only died for some, not all, and that God DOESN'T desire all men to be saved

  • This is just the right kind of message to chase the lost away even further. I do not agree with his teaching.

  • I used much stronger words that you...I couldn't help myself. I've seen this guy before and he makes me sick to my stomach every time I hear his voice or look at him! This man is totally lost!

  • Dianne he just seems so angry. Before I came to the Lord he would have made me run! lol

  • I admit to their being a corrupt group such as the uniformatarianism group, but this guy is wrong on this concept despite his colorful nature and clear cut distinction on the issue....Here's something to think about...

Why would Jesus ask of you to love those of which he hates?

...If you tell people GOD HATES THEM AND NEVER PLANNED FOR THEM TO BE REDEEMED THEN YOU MY FRIEND ARE TALKING STRAIGHT FROM SATAN'S MOUTH because he tries to prove just that!...Get it right...

    God be with...

  • What he didn't DISCUSS are the verses that describe God loves us except that famous John verse...

  • Im confused in the video it says God does not love everyone. but in the john 3 16 verse shows that God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believe in him shall not perish but have ever lasting life. The world!!! He love the creation so much to give them one last chance. Im trully confused but I agree Jacob was loved essau is not.

  • i get this now. it's not calvinism at all.

  • You cant quote Jacob I love but Esau I hated, without explaining what hate means in the Jewish concept. Read again The Elder shall serve the younger. Esau NEVER served Jacob in his entire life. Esau's offspring did serve the offspring of Jacob. The Jewish concept of hate is to favor considerably less. We could read Lk.14:26 and with this mans interpretation we would be commanded to HATE our parents;which clearly is NOT what the Scriptures teach at all. Its about priorities. He lacks CONTEXT!

  • Amen brother!

  • I really like this man's presentation. It made me laugh.

I've been that person who the scripture talks of that was luke-warm and also the person who just walked away.

Funny thing is that when I have walked away He always slaps me on my wrist, shakes me up to get my brain thinking again and is like, "Hey, ready to come to terms with reality now?"

It's amazing how much God really does love us and how He keeps refining me.

I truely seek Him and when I am wrong He shows me that i am wrong.

  • Jesus said love your enemies. He died for you. Stop digging around in the old testament looking for reasons to disobey or disregard this. Yes, it is hard, but that is the point. Be glad that you, sinner, are not receiving what you truly deserve. It's called God's grace. Who is anyone other than God to take that away from anyone else?

  • Explain the parable of the tares. WHO are the tares that grow with the wheat?

  • When Jesus had finished these parables, he left that place. 54He came to his hometown and began to teach the people in their synagogue, so that they were astounded and said, Where did this man get this wisdom and these deeds of power? 55Is not this the carpenters son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? 56And are not all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all this?

  • Jesus said, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."

    Matt 5:44

  • "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son."

    John 3:16

  • quote the entire verse and get the context right

  • Wait, if God only loves the elect and hates reprobates, then why does he command us to love mankind with all our heart mind and soul? I find this question rather perplexing.

  • God said to love the LORD your God with all your heart mind and soul. And your neighbor as yourself. The love for the neighbor is lesser. In any event, I think God is capable of loving and hating at the same time. I don't believe He loves unbelievers the same way He does those who are His.

  • "This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another." 1John 4:10

  • very very important question. i feel its answerd here.

  • Paul REPENTED and did NOT kill anymore, there is a BIG difference killing after supposedly being saved and not killing after being saved.

Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: Thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

Psalm 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

Psalm 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

    See also Luke 13.

  • Ok prbe932, what about christians (and i have personal experience of this) who are "saved" but battle daily with addictions like alchahol or drugs? They are christians but every now and again slip up. We all know to get drunk is a sin, but are you telling me that not only does god not love these people but he does in fact hate them? Im sorry i just dont believe that and please dont use the argument that they cant be really saved if they still drink.Yes they shouldnt but it is a terrible illness

  • I've dealt with those issues so that I don't "hang around" with the worldly friends any more. That's the only way, I guess, to prevent falling into alcohol and drugs. Also removing every vain thing and everything that is in opposition to God, e.g. computer games, worldly movies, worldly music (even some "christian"), etc, and replacing them with daily Bible reading and prayer. I know that isn't automatic, especially without help. My help came from fellow Christians who think the Bible way.

  • I appreciate what you are saying, but it doesnt exactly reply to my question. are you saying that god doesnt love "these people" just because they still have the same problem (alchahol dependant) as before? as i said we know getting drunk is wrong, but i believe that god still loves and cares for those people and as christians should we turn our back on them? i dont think so (sorry gone off the point a little there). but what is your view?

  • WOW, where is the compasion? He may well be correct in what he is saying (although i am not convinced) BUT there is a way of saying what you want to say. So let me get back to the love and hate that god feels. I liken it to this.. My daughter is 5 she does things every now and again that I hate and can make me very cross, however does that mean that i dont love her?? of course not! God loves everyone (and i am not a humanist), but God may dissaprove and hate ones actions....

  • "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son" You tell me...that is love. In this he says "god is angry with sinners" exactly!! God does not say "I hate sinners". Its the action or sin that god hates not the person. What about a Paul, surely God should of hated Paul after killing all those christians? but he didnt instead he wanted to save Paul and why? because he loved him! not his actions or his sin but him!. well thats my thought, please feel free to comment.

  • Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

  • Yes sir, your right, thank you for your video.

Although i think its important to also state, that even if we deserve the horrible wrath of God, we deserve it for all eternity for full, evrybody in hell, knows that. ( i guess)

Even so, God doesnt want any soul to perish.

    Not even one.

And that is also God, when we where enemy's, God hating, and He did know what would happened to His Son, He still sended His Son, to safe us. So a huge part of God is also love.

    Pls correct me wheniwrong

  • If God is all powerful and God hated something, that something would not be able to survive for a single instant. Didn't God look to creation and said "It's good"? It is not logical to say God hates, because if God hates then God could simply smite. If you say God allows you free will, then it's even more illogical because why would God hate you for using something he gave you? Use your fucking brain. Following rules is for people without the IQ to make decisions for themselves.

  • That that true stuff.

  • lets 1st pointout that the hate of GOD is not like the hate of man.Its rightious,just,4all unholyness.I disagree when he says GOD hates sinners,if this was so then Jesus woulda spoke 2 sinners with anger instead of love Christ said He came to save the lost.He never spoke anger toward sinners only the self rightious who condemend & Christ was in the perfect will of the Father.God hates UNREPENTED SIN and it must be punished, this is wher the wrath of GOD is.punishment for all who rebel against Him

  • I hear what you are saying.

When we turn to Revelation 20:10-12 and read about Satan being thrown into the lake of fire, and the dead, both great and small, stand before the great white throne, who is thrown into the lake of fire? The sin, or the people who committed them?

  • ment to say unrepented sinners, but I see where your coming from.all who rebel against God will be judged.but as Christians we must speak in love and turn people to Christ instead of waiting for judgment.True we have a STRONG desire to see all who rebel b punished for their blasphomy against THE HOlY GOD but Christ wants sinners to draw near rather then be punished because God is just and must cast all unholyness out of his presence. so yeah ur right the lake of fire contains sinners not sin

  • "who is thrown into the lake of fire? The sin, or the people who committed them?" That is like saying a parent does not love their child because they do wrong. I mean who gets punished? The child or their bad deeds?

  • Is it possible that this guy is misinterpreting a verse that is just comparing his love for Esau and Jacob, rather than a literal statement? I mean, is it possible God is just saying compared Jacob I hated Esau?

  • You'd have to take a big leap of faith to interpret that verse that way. Also, I think you'll have trouble trying to fit this next verse into your belief.

    Psalm 5:5 (New International Version)

    "The arrogant cannot stand in your presence;

you hate all who do wrong."

  • Yes, but in Romans 5:8 NIV it says: But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we are still sinners, Christ died for us. Now why would he die for us if he hated us? And he says:"for God so loved the world" means the world of believers...well then dosent it contradict versus like this one. By the way if you want the KJV Translation its..

But God commendeth his love for toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

    It says sinners. Not believers.

  • Wait a sec. We are all sinners: "If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us." 1 John 1:10

So everyone who God saves is a sinner, for everyone has sinned. But God did not say He came to save "everyone", but the "believer". When Paul said Christ died for "us", he was speaking to a group of believers including himself. And to whom was this Epistle addressed?

  • For the answer, let us turn back to Romans 1:5-7

"By Whom [Jesus Christ] we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for His name:

Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ."

    Remember context is everything.

  • Maybe this proves this video to be false? Im just trying to find out the truth, not prove this video wrong for kicks.

    watch?v=4Pc2N7jZeMk&feature=related

  • Well, that video makes some points, and I'm not going to say he's wrong or right, but that video talks about people who are believers already. I mean the bible says God is slow to anger, but His hatred and wrath IS upon the nonbeliever, and to say that is totally biblical.

  • Wait, if God only loves the elect and hates reprobates, then why does he command us to love mankind with all our heart mind and soul? I find this question rather perplexing.

  • And when we look at people like Adolph Hitler, Stalin, Gangues Kan, Nero, or the Muslims who decapitated the 3 Christian girls in Indonesia and left their heads at the doorstep of the Christian Church, does God love these people who openly and willingly denied Him, denied His Word, and persecuted the saints under their charge?

  • Revelation 6:9-11 "..I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:"

"And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?"

"And white robes were given unto every one of them; ..they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled"

  • In the NT, "wrath" to come, or the wrath of God is used dozens of times. Rev warns of the "wrath of God". What is wrath? In Rev 15:1 God's wrath), the original Greek word is "thumos". Strongs defines:

    1) passion, angry, heat, anger forthwith boiling up and soon subsiding again

    2) glow, ardour, the wine of passion, inflaming wine (which either drives the drinker mad or kills him with its strength)

It is translated 18 times in the NT: fierceness (2); indignation (1); wrath (15)

  • God is angry at sinners. And He is coming to a town near all of us very shortly. And it is not just the sin He is coming to judge and punish, but those who reject His word and His Gospel.

  • that guy is scary...I don't know what to think..So God doesn't love us?

  • I can excuse this guy's obnoxious, sarcastic demeanor( I mean, Elijah wasn't Mr. Congeniality at Mt. Carmel) but calling anyone who believes other than he a 'mystic' is beyond the pale. John MacArthur (though I disagree with his Calvinist views) wrote a book "The God Who Loves" wherein he makes a good case for God loving AND hating the sinner. After all, didn't Jesus 'love' the rich young ruler who turned back?

  • Great video BoT!!!

  • they shoudlnt be at church?? What the hell? What kind of Christian is this guy?

  • Galaxy: I don't think he so much saying they really need to leave, as he is saying they need to submit totally to the word of God.

It's funny talking with some after a church service. And they will openly admit they embrace evolution. That as long as we are "good people", God will take that into consideration. And some even say "Jesus was a great person and teacher, but I don't think he was the son of God."

Can you see how this kind of thinking can be a great anchor to true revival?

  • Well yes they need to submit but geez. The whole idea is for US to spread the news of Jesus. Jesus isn't here anymore to do it and that's what we are for.

I do understand his frustration with it though.

  • Dr. Robert A. Morey said "God loves the sinner and hate the sin. Where is that taught in the bible?"

Um... how about all over the place! We are like Jesus now ( those of us who are born again), God loves His Son doesn't He? Pretty sure he does.

  • The Bible teaches that we're to be imitators of Christ, right? I can't see Jesus giving a teaching like this, or in this manner. I don't see ANY of His love coming through here. I am highly encouraged by all the correct posting I see here in dissension to this video. It takes the Holy Spirit to correctly interpret true meaning of scripture.

  • I appreciate your post. We are really having a good discussion here.

Dr. Morey is very dogmatic; there's no doubt about that. Remember though that people are very different. While some like a soft voice and holding of a hand, others prefer a roar and a shovel along side the head. For some people this works.

In any case, the message is good. We must submit body and mind to the written Word. Unfortunately people are dying today and heading to eternal damnation because they fail to do so.

  • I agree. However, Dr. Morey probably wouldn't. I believe people reject God. The notion that God reprobates the majority of humanity belies countless scriptures wherein God sets forth death and life and calls us to choose. Why, if He has His hand up our back anyway?

  • We must understand the context of the Bibles expression of Hate. When God said Jacob I love and Esau I hate, it means I choose Jacob. Christ even says that we are to hate our parents and love Him. Does this mean hate? NO! Christ is only saying to put Him FIRST. It's the highest expression in Hebrew. Is this saying that God hates, while the bible says if any man hates in his heart, Hes a murderer. Does God hate? Is his a murderer, is He going against His own law? Dr. Robert Morey needs to STUDY!!

  • Im disappointed in you Bibleortraditions guy, I love your videos but this guy is very arrogant. How about we spread love let god take care of the rest.

  • I appreciate your feelings. Many complain that I too am too dogmatic. That perhaps I should tone my personal videos down. I guess it's a matter of personal preference. Some people like a soft tone, others a good jolt. Regardless, this is a good message.

Whether we like it or not, the reality is that people are dying and going to hell. People are going to the grave without knowing Christ, or thinking that sin is okay. And that is very saddening.

  • this is true but not what he is saying.

it´s not the tone, it´s the doctrine.

if I take him seriously, I would not have to preach Jesus, just wait and see who God loves.

Those people will join me at church "automatically".

I believe this "love-story" is just half of the story and this half is not very well interpreted.

  • There's 6.6 billion people on this world at this time and every single one of these people (including me & us here) are sinners, thus, God loves people but hates the sins. If it wasn't that way God would ended up hating the entire 6.6 billion people on this world.

  • What a powerful 10 minutes! Well said ... and frankly scary. Wise words in video! I wish every atheiest could watch this! YOu either get it or you don't!

  • don't know what to say, because

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." John 3, 16

but in the same time we cannot play games with God.

For bringing people to Jesus, we should speak about HIS LOVE FOR US!

For keeping them awake we must warn them, as this video does.

  • Yeah...we are ~ALL~ made in the likeness [lit essence] of God and ~ALL~ are made spiritually alive in Messiah as we believe and begin to act in accordance with his Spirit, loving one another, denying ourselves and accepting forgiveness for our misdeeds as we commit to walk in the light...but that, yes: Yeshua died for ALL who will believe...it's by faith!

    Global.

    LOVE

  • Very Good points made!

  • I quite liked this video BoT! Enough of the sentimentalism already...Amen, Dr. Morey!

  • Hey I know that God loves me cause he saves my life many times, I had an appendicidis and it should of burst but I waited two days but I didn't die and hey I'm Asian. Oh very important, I pray to him and believe in him and love him with all my heart, eventhough I have sin many times I still have faith and so he help me many times and has answered my prayers many times.

  • If you believe and follow the Gospel, my friend, God loves you very, very much.

  • Donald, I've always delighted on your videos, but the last two (esp. this one) are way off... I hope this is not your true advocacy.

  • I agree, I'm dissapointed in this guy. the rest of his vidios are great and now he puts this self rightouse guy who twists Jesus' words to his own ego boosted meens.

I'm really dissapointed. This guy says if your not a calvinist you might as well be an athiest. And you should get out of the church.

  • I don't think being a Calvinist is the main focus of this video. What he emphasizes is that we must submit to the Bible, His word, and judgment is coming. God is angry at sinners.

Is it important whether we believe God throws a Life-preserver to everyone and it is up to the individual to grab hold and accept, or God throws a Life-preserver only to those who He chose to save from the foundation of creation?

People are dying and going to hell each and every day. That is a sad but sobering truth.

  • That man said if you don't believe in predestination you are a closet athiest. He said get out of christianity and be an athiest.I respect you,I do really, but that man just said I was an athiest and a humanist. Its important,I'll tell you why, they believe God allowed mankind to be unable to come to him, then chooses to let some believe on his son,and sent the rest to hell. And you you do know it was a catholic who made up predestination, it didnt start with john calvin.

  • I certainly know we both agree God is outside of time. He knows the end from the beginning (Isa 46:10). This is what omnipotent means. I am not being condescending, this is the benefit for those reading that may be following along.

Jesus is the door of the sheep and He came for the sheep (John 10), but not all are sheep. Some do not understand because they cannot understand. At time count 7:55, he clearly stated Jesus came for the believers. He did not say He came for the Calvinists.

  • Amanda: I believe Christ knows who He came to save. Nothing takes God by surprise. The Bible teaches that the saved are written in the Book of Life since the foundation of the world (Rev 13:8), and I believe this. Christ died for us and He knew each and every sin we would ever commit. He knew us thousands of years before we were ever born.

Now some might think then, "Well since He died for everyone that will be saved, why should I spend time spreading the Gospel of salvation?"

  • I believe God knows everything. Not just world events and every sin we would ever commit, but also our evangelizing efforts. He knows which seeds of truth we will sow, and His working to draw people into a relationship with Him. For example, my walk with Christ began when some average guy handed me a Christian tract. And from that, I grew and accepted Christ as my Saviour.

So we must look beyond the Calvinist view and understand God knows who He came to save, ALL BELIEVERS IN CHRIST!

  • Add to that Esau being a drunkard

  • James 3:9-10 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

We are commanded to love. We are Christians by our love, and we ought to reflect the love of God. That's the end conclusion to the Bible.

We do need to warn people that rejecting Jesus is rejecting the love of God, and that there is judgement on it.

  • Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no PLEASURE in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not WILLING that any should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.

  • interesting view. who is this guy? anybody help?

  • So is he saying that God hates unbelievers and believers or just unbelievers? Im not sure what he's trying to get at here. Are some forsaken no matter if they believe and submit to Christ? Im not following and its very discouraging.

  • Rev 7:9 says, "...a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands."

Rev 7:13-14 "...What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? ...These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

  • We that believe and follow the Gospel, do not stand in judgment. The penalty for sin was paid in full by Christ Jesus on Calvary. Thus we are arrayed in the robes of righteousness, not because of what we did, but because of what He did.

If we submit to Christ, we have a white robe waiting for us. That should be very comforting to us.

  • That it is! its just sometimes I feel like my faith isnt strong enough. You know what I mean? Like I dont want to doubt him but for some reason there is a barrier there do you know what I mean?

  • Everyone, and I mean everyone, has moments of doubt. This is why we need to meditate on Scripture, pray daily, and continue to fellowship with other Christians.

  • Does this mean we are forsaken if we doubt but cannot or struggle to overcome it?

  • One of the biggest reasons of doubt is being around doubters all the time. Videos, TV and movies can create doubt . Just never forget that it is a video, show or movie.

Some books you read can doubt.

Any thing in your life that creates doubt, get away from or get rid of.

  • Amen, Angel.

And I don't thing we really "doubt" as much as we "question". Right? Because deep down we know the truth and when confronted we state truth.

When we question, we really need to pray. Every time this has happened to me, God has been faithful to answer my question. Thus my faith is strengthened.

  • Q & A with John MacArthur:

    Election and Human Responsibility

    watch?v=AHilc3rTC2U

  • "'Are we chosen to be saved or do we choose ourselves to be saved?'...the answer is 'yes.'" Wait, what? In this short clip John MacArthur speaks on the tension that exists between these seemingly contradictory biblical teachings as well as the dangers of seeking an unnecessary and unbiblical middle ground which ultimately results in the compromise of both truths.

  • add to that:

    'LOVE YOUR ENEMIES!'

  • He's being too literal. The Bible warns about this. I don't see the fruit of the spirit in here. There's no faith, hope and love. I can't believe he's driving people away from Christianity.

  • I agree he comes off a little arrogant...

  • But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Roman 5:8...John 3:16 For God so love the world that he gave his only Begotten son.....Note while we were sinners Jesus died for us and God sent him because he loves us hence the 2 go parallel together you cannot separate the 2. You cannot separate God gift of salvation and his love. You actually think after that brutal beating Jesus took for us what made u think press him on forward? His love for us.

  • This guy is complicating the essence of Christianity.

GOD LOVES EVERYBODY WHO LOVES HIM!

    HOW?

    > BY ACCEPTING HIS SON JESUS AS SAVIOR AND OBEYING HIS COMMANDMENTS(10 commandments, love of neighbor)

  • so obey the 10 ten commandments so one can enter into heaven?

  • NO. I wrote 'Accept Jesus aa savior AND obey his commandments.' In other words, believe in Jesus and 'SIN NO MORE'.

You might ask 'How do I know I'm sinning?'

You sin when u violate the 10 commandments. Use it as a guide.

  • u mean Savior cause there is only 1 Savior so it must be captalized."Later knowing that all was now completed and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled Jesus said"I am thirsty""When He had received the drink Jesus said'It is finished'With that He bowed His head and gave up his spirit."John19:28&30It was then Jesus knew Scriptures was fulfilled so10commandments r not the way2get2heaven there is but1wayJohn 3:3-7&John 14:6i know im going to heaven when i die?do u know where ur going when u die?

  • @BapticostalFreak

he who loves me keeps what?

and why? because of justification or because of love?

so 10 commands are one way to identify, but this is off topic here...

  • You are implying that the 10 commandments were nailed to the cross and no longer valid. No my friend. That verse u quoted refers to the ceremonial/sacrificial law a.k.a. law of ordinances which was finished by the final sacrifice thru Jesus on the cross.

  • No more sacrifices were needed since Jesus was made the ultimate sacrifice.

  • He is not saying that. It is the faith in Christ that saves us and only that, but if you have a true saving faith you should strive to keep his commandments. Jesus is Lord has a meaning.

If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

    John 14:15

  • No where does it say that you have to love Christ to get saved, you have to BELIEVE in Him. The love comes later.

  • But you must submit to him as Lord. By repenting and believing in Him you are saved but true faith will show fruits.

  • "Here is patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus" Revelation 14:12

So somebody lied to you when they said the 10 Commandments are irrelevant.

  • I guess Jesus lied to me in John 19:28-30

  • That has nothing to do with the 10 Commandments. You do remember the 10 Commandments were put in the Ark of The Covenant right?

Are you calling Jesus a liar with what he said twice in Revelation about the Commandments?

  • Matt. 22:37-40 is Jesus commandments to us Exodus 20:3-17 is God's commandments to the people He brought out of Egypt

  • They are the same Commandments. Listen...

Commandments 1-4 shows us how to love God...

Commandments 5-10 shows us how to love our neighbor.

It's no coincidence that the commandments were written on 'two' tablets just as Jesus gave us the 'two' in Matthew. They are the same...

  • I know you have to say this cause your raised this way. Let us both try to witness to non Christians and stop insulting Christians cause they don't agree with us. I knew it was on may 9th 1982 if i didn't confess my sins and ask Christ into my heart i was going to hell when i died. Do you know where you are going when you die and how do you know? See Romans 10:9-13

  • "I know you have to say this cause your raised this way."

Raised this way? Don't be so foolish. God showed me this and not some man. You cannot deny with what i just said about the Commandments.

"If ye love Me, keep My commandments."

  • theheat151 i know im going to hell cause i don't worship the 10 commandments so there is no need to talk about cause according to u anyone who doesn't worship on saturday can't get into heaven cause they don't keep Gods day holy

  • "i know im going to hell cause i don't worship the 10 commandments"

Did i say you were going to hell? Why do Christians always bring up the Sabbath when mentioning the 10 Commandments? Why is this so offensive to many Christians? I'll never know...

  • Matt. 22:37-40 is Jesus commandments to us Exodus 20:3-17 is God's commandments to the people He brought out of Egypt

  • Hmm, I am a christian but haven't read the whole Bible yet.

It is really our own choices that decide our fate, our free will.

God gave us the choice to either love him or reject him, Jesus cannot save anyone that doesn't want to be saved, he died for everyone including the people who cruicified him and rejected him.

  • Can you please show any of this free-will choices anywhere in the Bible? I know you haven't read the whole Bible (neither have I ;) ) but be open to what it says. Read John 6:37-44; John 10:26-28; Romans 8:28-39; Romans 9; Eph 1:4f; Acts 13:48. These are just some of the verses that talk about God choosing us, not on the basis of our free will but on his free choice. He regenerates us, so that we will love him, which the natural man doesn't.

Did people die and pay for the sins of those in hell?

  • There is no verse in scripture that states regeneration precedes faith. God DRAWS man to him (Jn.12:32) and seeks the Lost (Lk.19:10)

Man responds to that seeking with faith.

'Did people die and pay for the sins of those in hell?

What does that even mean? Do you mean did Christ die and pay for the sins of those in hell?

If that is the question, the answer is yes, Christ died for their sins, but they rejected the free offer of salvation and the grace was not imputed to them.

  • Uhm what about 1 John 5:1 just to name one? Or how about Lydia? Acts 16:14?

Man responds, yes he does but only because God has given him a new heart. Act 13:48. The natural man doesn't seek after God though (Rom 3:11) since he is in rebellion towards him (Rom 8:7)

The Father draws his people to Him and he will rise ALL of them up on the last day since he loses none of them. (Se John 6:37-44)

So the same sins are paid for twice? Or did Christ just hypothetically pay for their sins?
