Why Can't We See God?

God is absolutely other than His creation, for the Creator cannot have the same kind of being as His creation. Although this is self-evident, some people still ask why we cannot see God directly.

I'm saying that even IF you assume a God exists then there is no logical way to choose between all the contenders offered by the different religions. If you can't prove a specific one to be correct then how can you prove that any of them are correct? If the world and our observations makes logical sense without a God & if there is no evidence to counter that explanation then the 'God hypothesis' becomes a null hypothesis. If the hypothesis is null then it's unnecessary to prove it to be untrue.

Can you prove that you exist? Yes, of course you can. You merely use your senses to determine that you can see, hear, feel, smell, taste and you have emotions as well. All of this is a part of your existence. But this is not how we perceive God in Islam. We can look to the things that He has created and the way that He cares for things and sustains us, to know that there is no doubt of His existence.
