I love Pits. I'm 15 and my Pit died almost a year ago his name was Pepper he was ten. I had him my whole life and never got bit in a violent way. I have pictures of hive everyway in my room. I will never be the same with out him.

They are not 100 percent controllable just as a persons personality or wild animal are not 100% controllable. Fact pit bull owners have a powerful creature that they don not have 100 percent control over the dog's behavior no matter how friendly they are raised, bred etc...

no joke i saw a friend of mine who had a pitbull and his kid who was like 3 or 4 had him on a leash and he wouldn't tug or nothing just minded real because he knew there was a kid holding the leash. me seeing that is what made me get a pitbull and i got the best dog i've ever had.
Thanks for posting the video. Im a shelter volunteer and I exercise and socialize pit bulls every time Im there. I have never been bitten nor have they acted aggressively toward me. I have walked puppies to 8 yr olds and its funny but they've all been fine. I try to show their social side with customers and many times the visitors are amazed, i love my babies!
My pitbull would rather lick someone than bite them. We always joke around that he would protect us if someone broke into our house. He would rather kiss someone who breaks into our house (or fall asleep on the couch) while they maul us as long as hes happy.

We brought my friend's seven month old baby over and he simply licked her face softly and laid down. It was so cute, no matter how much her and her three siblings pulled and wrestled with him he just simply licked them! i have worked around dogs my whole life and dealt with all breeds of dogs and never once have i been attacked by a pitbull...the dogs i have been attacked by? usually small ankle biter dogs and 1 chow usually its the smallers dogs if all about how you raise the dog very nice video!!

My oldest pit will walk next to my 2 year old on the side walk to prevent her from walking in the street, when she gets close she will guide her back. Pit bulls are the best!!!

For whatever reason these breeds "snap" and attack with more often than not deadly consequences. Earlier this year a pit killed a 37yo newlywed woman in her own home. Before that it was a 3 yo little girl playing in her yard when a neighbors pit attacked and killed her too. And don't tell me that this happens with other breeds BULLSHIT. One NEVER is killed by a labrador or boxer, or any other breed It's ALWAYS a pit. Who knows why however those are the facts.

@zackzelmo any dog is likely on turning on a human. I have raised and trained several different breeds. There are breeds that are easier to snap then others but don't discriminate against just one breed. Pits can be very loving. I know a woman personally who rescued a chocolate lab and it attacked her years after it was rescued and fully trained. Vet said it was from past abuse. Many trainers and vets agree that it all lays on the beginning handling of the animal.

pitbulls were not bred to be fighters, or hunters for that matter. The dog bred most for hunting would be a retriever (if you hunt ducks , or any other sort of water animal they do just as their name says and RETRIEVE your game) blood hounds, beagles, etc. I've been bitten twice by dogs. once by a chow chow (i needed 24 stitches as my lip was hanging off) and once by a chihuahua on my nose, which due to its size at the time only left a nasty gash. research- dont listen to the media!

no joke i saw a friend of mine who had a pitbull and his kid who was like 3 or 4 had him on a leash and he wouldn't tug or nothing just minded real because he knew there was a kid holding the leash. me seeing that is what made me get a pitbull and i got the best dog i've ever had.

Thanks for posting the video. Im a shelter volunteer and I exercise and socialize pit bulls every time Im there. I have never been bitten nor have they acted aggressively toward me. I have walked puppies to 8 yr olds and its funny but they've all been fine. I try to show their social side with customers and many times the visitors are amazed, i love my babies!

Wow... She's really good on a leash... I get dragged around by my boyfriend's pitbull. Haha. But that's just cause he wasn't trained too well to be on a leash. He's the sweetest dog EVER. I adore him... possibly more than the boyfriend... ;P We call him Monster. He's smart as hell, too.

@ironmaidenescorts i think it is a silly comparison to compare the coc hunter or any wild animal with a pit bull dog, they are domestic, they were bred to be domesic the vast majority of pits are good dogs with good owners, it is their 'hard' looks that attracts thugs to buy them as protection dogs and they won't walk the dog or treat it right they just want protection then when they're done they go to a shelter, THAT is the real truth, bad people make bad animals, no matter what pet it is.

@ironmaidenescorts I think that dog licences should be brought back, you don't have a licence you don't get a dog, the people who turn these dogs (or any other dog, over here in the UK it is staffordshire bull terriers) probably won't want to pay for a dog licence but saying that the dog known for biting the most that is never shown in the paper is labradors and border collies but notice these stories don't get bigged up like the pit bull, staffie or rotties do, it is sad

This is just a reminder that pitts are not the problem, it's the owners. My pitt Buddy was absolutely amazing. We brought my friend's seven month old baby over and he simply licked her face softly and laid down. It was so cute, no matter how much her and her three siblings pulled and wrestled with him he just simply licked them! Please people, take this and my own experience as a reminder, punish the owners who have misguided them, not the dogs!

i have worked around dogs my whole life and dealt with all breeds of dogs and never once have i been attacked by a pitbull...the dogs i have been attacked by? usually small ankle biter dogs and 1 chow usually its the smallers dogs if all about how you raise the dog very nice video!!

To all of you that are UNEDUCATED on this breed- Do your research on the breed, there are a lot of irresponsible owners out there and because Pit bulls are a powerful breed they refuse to blame it on POOR OWNERSHIP they blame it on the dogs "temperment" I have always owned pit bulls and will never have another dog. My oldest pit will walk next to my 2 year old on the side walk to prevent her from walking in the street, when she gets close she will guide her back. Pit bulls are the best!!!

For whatever reason these breeds "snap" and attack with more often than not deadly consequences. Earlier this year a pit killed a 37yo newlywed woman in her own home. Before that it was a 3 yo little girl playing in her yard when a neighbors pit attacked and killed her too. And don't tell me that this happens with other breeds BULLSHIT. One NEVER is killed by a labrador or boxer, or any other breed It's ALWAYS a pit. Who knows why however those are the facts.

@zackzelmo any dog is likely on turning on a human. I have raised and trained several different breeds. There are breeds that are easier to snap then others but don't discriminate against just one breed. Pits can be very loving. I know a woman personally who rescued a chocolate lab and it attacked her years after it was rescued and fully trained. Vet said it was from past abuse. Many trainers and vets agree that it all lays on the beginning handling of the animal.

They were originally bred to be used as bait for bulls & bears because of their athleticism. What your saying is equal to saying roosters were also bred to fight. Everything depends on the animals owner. If you weren't aware - 57 of michael vicks 58 "vicious" pits were rehabilitated and placed in homes with large families.

pitbulls were not bred to be fighters, or hunters for that matter. The dog bred most for hunting would be a retriever (if you hunt ducks , or any other sort of water animal they do just as their name says and RETRIEVE your game) blood hounds, beagles, etc. I've been bitten twice by dogs. once by a chow chow (i needed 24 stitches as my lip was hanging off) and once by a chihuahua on my nose, which due to its size at the time only left a nasty gash. research- dont listen to the media!

It got its name since it was responsible for herding a bull with its clan of cows in a direction or place where the American early farmer wanted the cows to go. Later, this breed was known as the "nanny dog". It was charged with protecting children from strangers or going near water. Later, shitheads made in into a fighting dog and some today like that about pits. Damn them.
