  • cool, american companies have deforastated their own land during 2 centuries.

Now there's amost no native jungle in US. Why they are blaming us now?

how hypocrate! maybe their farmers paid well the campaign

  • so right....

people who haven't understood this yet are jerks..

  • i hope,we have the forests forever....for my future, for everybody live around the world...

  • good

  • damn, when is humanitiy going to wake up and realize that shooting itself in the foot? I mean we are killing ourselves here and most like won't stop until it's too late.

  • Actually, when you realize the forests lost are the ones that process surface level CO2 then the impact is MUCH greater! STOP deforestation. SHUT DOWN Brazil and Indonesia and those nations with vast forests from destroying them.

  • Yes humans are a disgrace

  • Our self-appointed leaders made us the way we are, blame them.

  • So lame that we are fucking up the planet all in the name of GREED and money.

The thing is, we can invent cleaner, renewable sources right now, but certain greedy companies have a stranglehold on the public, such as the corrupt oil industry.

  • @staphinfection Can't remember the film, but one line of it goes "species only change when they are on the brink of extinction" - Pretty much how humans are gonna be, will only change when things are about to go bad.

  • nice video

  • all attempts to save forests will result in an epic failure like the rest. wanna bet?

  • your on :D £10 says in 10 years some one will say we should of tryd harder

  • This is a very good video, not because of the climate, but because of our nature - one and only true treasure that we all have.

  • Yeah, they destroy everything. Let nature have it's course!

    Good video :)

  • Manuela, we are a product of nature.....

  • Yes, you are right :)

We must take care of ourselves and nature, if we want to live in a better world. We should care more. Nature should mean "freshness:" and not pollution.

On the other hand, what do you think about this video?

  • What I mean by us being a product of nature is that we're nature's most conscientious, advanced product We're exactly what we were produced to be, nothing more nothing less. We're a product that requires a lot of energy to exist, if we need to consume this earth so be it, it is part of our design. Nature 'created' us so that we could exist by consuming this planet. Still we should find the most sustainable ways of existing but our future isn't in this planet but out in space - believe it or not.

  • Interesting point of view :)

  • Well thanks ;), and while you might think it's just a point of view, it is much more than that.

  • Comment removed

  • (Continuation) You say let nature take it's course. But if we are nature's product, and we are taking a course, this means we, no, nature is taking it's course.

  • ok now I really want to save teh forest BUt how can I? without donating money,

  • Thank you for this video, it's well done and effective, and explains in clear terms how preventing deforestation will help reduce emissions.

Like you, we are striving to reduce waste and carbon emissions and are showing different solutions and perspectives in our channel: reports from Copenhagen, interviews with scientists, visions of a zero emission future by designers and architects, etc. Take a look if you're interested.

  • Great video. Very informative.
