  • needs a reggae blue beat, english or jamaican vocals and an electric punky bass and a load of skinheads and jamaican rudeboys skanking. then this would be awesome

  • Long way from "Let's Think About Living". Interesting post!

  • Bob Luman. Great stuff.

  • This is the same Bob Luman that sings that Private Eye and The Great Snowman, cause I'd never know it. Is thisa a rockabilly song, i'm suppose to believe it was of them nd rocabilly wasn't played in this neck of the woods. I don't know why, it was just the mainstream r&r, ..Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Jimmy Bowen, Buddy Holly , The Crests etc etc. So where was all this so called rocabilly played and why wasn't it played nationwide. It's new to me & I like it, but it's typically r&r too.

  • This is my favorite track of the the chief records ultra rare rockabilly comp vol 6!

  • didn't buddy holly do this as well

  • rockdoowop5060, yes Buddy Holly sang this song. On the Decca (N.Y.) 9-29854 label. He recorded the son on April 21, 1956. Ben Hall also recorded the song on April 4, 1960 on the Gaylo (Texas) BM-104 . But thos version. from Bob Luman was an unissued record from the Imperial label.

  • Yes...The first thing he ever recorded for Decca

  • Love it; such a great track, have been checking youtube for years trying to find it but the only Bob Luman track that comes up is 'Let's Talk About Living'.

  • I never heard it either and it's great....Kind of country and rockabilly - love it....My bebopping-line dancing feet are enjoying it also. Great steel guitar back-ups! Thanks for sharing.

  • I've never heard this before....it's great!
