This is excellent. I practice swordsmanship, specifically fencing and kendo, and I found this was a great refresher. In a real situation you need to realize that all that flashy swordsmanship seen in films and television is fake - a real duel is much quicker and bloodier. Which of course is what the protective gear is for. You're not trying to actually kill your opponent in Kendo, and you need to exercise restraint.

@daveyowful you obviously don't know much about sword fighting,tameshigiri,juijutsu,­aikijutsu,and naginatajutsu..This is not very traditional but all of it comes from japanese arts(what used to be bujutsu),and very well done at that

@ninjitsurocks How long have you done Kendo and Aikido/Juijutsu? and how long ago did you leave it behind to do this?

You must have pissed of alot of Japanese masters by doing this.

I've seen alot of shite vids on youtube and you have finally put the components back together and used them like they should be used-fast and flowing and something that would have been deadly if used for real.

I wont dare to say we share a same dicipline, but i practice all the enssential components of fighting. I just have a hard time explaining the diference in the phisycs of contact between wood/bamboo vs foam swords.

I might seem like a just a DnD player but im working on my school as well and could use your experience.
