  • Beaver, it's what's for dinner!

  • I had a neighbor that trapped for his whole life seen this done many times playing crib & skinning pelts like it .

  • This guy is a trapper!

  • does he eat them cause the meat is realy good

  • THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO MERCY AT ALL FOR THESE HELPLESS LIVING CREATURES JUST TRYING TO LIVE. HOW COULD YOU GO TO BED AT NIGHT KNOWING THAT THERE ARE SO MANY POOR ANIMALS BEING DROWNED AND CAUGHT IN SUCH PAIN AND AGONY AND DESPERATION BECAUSE OF YOU. NO SENSE OF MERCY WHATSOEVER. SO SAD. ONE WAY OR ANOTHER THEIR LIVES TAKEN IN THAT WAY WILL BE ACCOUNTED FOR.

  • @culostinks2468 shut up you fucking libral pussy.

  • @culostinks2468 dude you must be the dumbest person I have ever heard talk people like you aka green peace losers should lose there right of speach for being so stupied.

  • @viper10011 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.......WOW you really do have some deep issues far beyond killing beavers. I'm not green peace by the way. I simply respect life... By the way the word stupid is spelled S.T.U.P.I.D not STUPIED. But yea like you said I'm the stupid one right..... ; )

  • @viper10011 and the word speech is spelled S.P.E.E.C.H not SPEACH.

  • @culostinks2468 dude hes trapping them and making fur coats who cares but your bitching about it shut and and go tell someone who cares.

  • @culostinks2468 Mercy? I'd rather die drowned in a trap than in a hospital bed at 80 years old... hopped up on medications... taking days to waste away.

  • @culostinks2468 how do you sleep at knight knowing your obama care is robing this nation of its liberties?

  • sharp knife

  • The Beaver is such an amazing animal. Why people still feel the need to kill them is beyond retarded. IMHO. Leave the beavers alone! :)

  • Neat video, Whats a beaver hide bring there???5*

  • nice fleshing and straching job

  • there is stiil a huge market for beaver fur, and for everyone that complained about the meat not being eaten, if you are so worried about it, find a trapper and ask him for his beaver meat because it can be donated to charity. or stop complaining about someone makes a living.

  • @DAV19800 Donate beaver meat to charity? C'-Mon man, what are you smoking? People making a living killing beavers? How bout get a real fucking job ya deadbeat bumpkin. hehe

  • @aspenmogul you are an idiot why dont you put the keyboard down and come out of your mothers basement every now and again and see what the world is like, you useless troll.

  • @DAV19800 Get a fucking life, and quit killing the beavers for money. Don't you realize this is the 21st century? Your not in the 1800's anymore! WAKE THE FUCK UP! --- LMFAO!!!!

  • 130 in the winter season and the same usually in the spring

  • happy you liked this one.Have a bunch just not editted up.Have been working on the show I co- host now.Limitted time now a days

  • glad you like them

  • thank you

  • depends on the set and depth of the water

  • yup

  • true most are fleshed on a beam Martin has his way he likes though

  • impossible to say. It depends on the current market value for one. Also the primeness of the animal, damage, bite marks, skinning, hide prep and stretching. You can make a $30 fur into a $3 fur very easy by having poor hide prep and stretching

  • lol you can say that.

  • Beaver and muskrat are edible meats if you choose. I ate some at a wildlife supper before.Alright taste, just a bit oily. That would have to be up to you if you eat it or not.I use my meat for bear bait.

  • lol, they can have them, lol

  • LOL, Thanks!

  • thanks!

  • glad you liked it!

  • depends on demand at the time, quality and what the market says.

  • martin the fellow on this vid does as well.

  • lol

  • Martin sells 1/2 to them

  • The meat is used as bear bait in the spring. Some people do eat the meat. Thanks for your question

  • I'm not sure but there are ads in local papers for outfitters requesting beavers.

  • a person gets $3 for small and $5 for large beaver carcasses. We have loads of wolves. You can see I have a close encounter with 4 on my moose vid. Thanks for your comment

  • glad you enjoyed

  • I love following Martin on his trapline.

  • thank you

  • thanks for the comment. The meat is sold to bear hunters as bait

  • its in the works, glad to hear you are interested

  • My friend,I am very limitted to what I can show in the 10 minutes that youtube allows. I am in the works to propvide a full length trapping dvd.Hard work and fun included

  • I hear you,lol

  • thanks

  • It is like anything, If you know the tricks of the trade it is easier. But I would not say "easy".Fun though.

  • If you are trapping beavers, you are bound to catch kits. With the average house holding 2 adults and 5 kits, odds are in favour of catching a kit from time to time. The tail bounty pays the same for young ones as it does for old ones. Thank you for your experienced comment.

  • Thanks

  • they are deadly!

  • very true, biggest on a scale for use was a 94 lbs

  • thanks! have some posted already

  • May I ask what is wrong with this? If it was not for the fur industry, north america would never of been explored. Today the fur industry employees many people starting right here with the trappers in the field. It is part of our history.

  • No I meant wrong like sickning not wrong like "STOP DOIN THIS!!!111!111one!"

  • You are intitled to your opinion

  • thanks! I have the footage just have not posted yet

  • thank you!

  • thanks LOL

  • I have that saved to video just not uploaded yet!

  • thanks! will do!

  • Trapping is an art. Beautiful to those who truely understand the outdoors.

  • have posted a beaver vid with some how too's. Will post some more how to vids.

  • I guess you could, there are recipes for them. Martin sells the skinned carcass to outfitters for bear bait though.

  • in a clamp?! lost my hand?! come on man, dont take me for a fool! A conibear trap does not close all the way, there fore will never cut off a limb! You are best not to get "back" into trapping! Thanks for the comment.

  • its all good man
