1994 marked the end of the NHL's legitimacy and the beginning of the WWE era. Canada is the NHL's captive market, and no cup will ever be won by a Canadian team until Bettman is gone. Isn't it curious that Phoenix is doing so well this year? They're good, but not that good. Refs threatening retribution...this could be the biggest scam ever.
i remember watching that game when I was only 10 yrs old, and I had to go to sleep, and my parents told me the sad news (im a leaf fan) the next day. I had never seen extended highlights of that game up till now. And the channel changing positively works to give a sense of that care-free liberal era. Especially that cigarette clip lol. Thank you for allowing me to relive something i never lived up fully! Peace.
Channel changing or not, that's a great clip that brought back some great memories! 1994; what a great feeling that captivated the entire city and province. Thanks for sharing it with everyone, after all of these years! The only guy missing in the post game interviews was the Russian Rocket. Go Canucks, Go!!!!
