@Devourerofcheese I got good at finger stretching from playing Guitar Hero a lot lol I can stretch from 1 to 8 and 12 to 22 but it starts to hurt pretty fast. You stretch a lot in the Fan Song (According to the tabs in the book anyway) but when I play that it doesn't hurt.

Thanks for the video, I had the tab book but the mix of drums, bass and guitar is so heavy on the recording I couldn't really work out how you were doing what you were....also slight mistake in the tab book, at the start you do a hammer on, C D E, in the tab book it is C D F. Not that I could tell from the recording my ears are not that good.

You're going to need a 24.75" scale (like the Les Paul) or longer hands to stretch from the 3rd fret to the 9th on the 4th string.

7 string? That's not cheating. That's just adding an extra bottom string. That actually helps if you have a capo, which is easier than tuning a six-string.

Picking out the notes? Well, the first half (the 13/4 time signature) is a mix of downstrokes, gallops (two 16th-notes and an 8th-note), and tremolo picking. The second half (the 6/4 time signature) is all downstrokes, except for the little, random alternate picking parts. Mainly, every main 8th-note of the whole thing is downpicked.

When I said notes, I didn't mean the time signature, or the picking. I meant...the notes o.O I was having trouble with the notes because he did that explanation of the tremolo picking part in the middle of his lesson and I thought those notes were part of the hammer on bit.

I was saying use a 7 string because then you don't have to reach for the chords because you can use the lower string.

Oh, I get what you're saying for the seven string idea. My seven string idea works best to get to the C-tuning, however. I think the whole point of the BCPT was that you need to stretch it, so yeah... If it was your way, it would be cheating.
