I'm a Christian and I didn't believe what Harold Camping was saying about the Rapture being on May 22nd. More than half of the Christians didn't believe him. And so many people are insulting Christians, calling them names and saying their "pathetic". Jesus will return one day but we won't know the day.

I'm a Christian and I didn't believe what Harold Camping was saying about the Rapture being on May 22nd. More than half of the Christians didn't believe him. And so many people are insulting Christians, calling them names and saying their "pathetic". What really is pathetic is how you can degrade and insult a group of people just because they were wrong about a date. Like I said before, only less than half the Christians believed Camping. Jesus will return one day but we won't know the day.

Be blessed in the Lord. Trust in him...it's all in the Bible clearly. Camping decided to interpret things and through such interpretations man has developed the notion of denominations which also doesn't exist in the Word. While I agree religions were many times used as a tool to control or influence the masses I disagree though that that makes what the Bible teaches false and believers stupid. The reality is that nothing is up for debate you either have faith and choose to believe or you don't.

Although most of us Christians knew he got it wrong, let us pray for him and his followers and those who may think Christians are foolish. Do not throw stones unless you have not sinned. He is being shamed publicly as it is. I do not want him to have a heart attack or stroke. Forgive as you have been forgiven. God will be his judge and he is going to have to pay a penalty for this. But he loves God, it is just a shame that he feels to confirm his faith he needs a date of Jesus return. Father God will send Jesus in HIS time. @WhereTheyAre God did not create hell - Satan did. God send his son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so we can be SAVED us from hell. That is how much God loves you my friend. Religion is binding but having a relationship with God is not invisible, but real and gives you freedom. Have you tried praying to God your Creator? You have the Choice to have your opinion, just like you have the choice to have faith that Jesus loves yous you so much he died for you friend. Search your soul today.

Looks like i know more about your own religion than you do. According to Christianity, god directly or indirectly created everything. And just because he also happens to be omniscient, he knew the vast majority of humans would burn in hell before he even "make light". What does that say about his supposed benevolence?

@WhereTheyAre Would I be correct in thinking that you seen to have more of a issue what Christians belive to be true and about God than you do about Satan, hell and sin? As I said before, God wants to save us from hell & that is why he sent Jesus to die for you and pay the penalty of death & sin. That is a VERY loving God as we do not deserve it as we ALL have sinned & fell short of His glory. Are you saying, you have not sinned? You should be grateful instead of mocking Him friend!
