in hindsight it seems like it didnt matter who won. We still got screwed. I pulled for konami back then & they stabbed us in the back. spellcasters command was a total joke. seriously, spellcounters?! & they took out most of the cards that would of been worth wild like Silent MagicianLV 4 & 8, and Black Horn of Heaven. they took Exodius out of warriors strike. & they keep making the cards needlessly complex and yet they are not as good as the old cards. im old school YGO for life! rant over.

hey i took a look at your site. and i agree with you on the spellcaster deck and alot of what you say about the game lately. whats wrong with konami now a days? i dont know what pisses me off more. konami making these needlessly complex yet subpar cards or the n00bs who eat the shit up. and Ra. what have they done to it. sorry for turning this into another rant. its just yugioh was one of my favorite things and they have been pissing on us since they ended the original series.

Finally someone who agrees with me on this one. the anime YuGiOh! pretty much died when they wrote off Atem (the pharoh). He was badass. Jaden was a joke and Yusei is a poor imitation. My philosophy no Pharoh no YuGiOh!. The Atem was the real king of games not Yugi.

and what doesnt make sense is after Atem left the shadows games were suppose to be gone for good as well. yet in both GX and 5Ds theres still shadow games or some kind of paranormal stuff going on with the cards. so what then? the pharoh had to go but the evil powers he was fighting to seal away could stay? i call bullshit. if the shadow games stay he could of stayed.

If it was a UDE counterfeit and they found out you'd be in trouble. You can tell if it is a UDE counterfeit by the attribute coloring is a little lighter than normal. Also the picture on the card is lighter. That's a great question!

I hate both Konami and UDE. UDE counterfieted cards and Konami is only releasing card packs to Hobby League stores. I can't drive for 2 hours, waste like $30 dollars of gas, go to a nearby Hobby League store and only pay 4-5 dollars for 9 cards...Both Konami and UDE can kiss the fattest part of my ass (and I am not that fat.) I can only blame America for this fucking bullshit!

also the konami take over is complete. ude has surrendered and stop promoting yugioh on thier site and and everywhere else. also there is a sneak preview for crimsion crisis. its going on today and tomorrow at your local hobby leauge store. konami is now in command. even the new pack has no ude logo on them

Yes...but now guys like me, who live about 2-3 hours away from Hobby League stoes, go to college, and can't frequently buy cards on the internet that are like $5 per card, can't buy any cards anymore. This fucks me off so bad! Both Konami and UDE are being fucking stubborn to guys like me.

It is confirmed the reason behind Konami is planning to take over YuGiOh TCG from UDE is because UDE produce and supply counterfeit cards to Vintage (500,000 of them).Konami has evidence regarding this matter and this case is still pending in court.For anyone who still doesn't know anything about this, please find information on certain forums.

Upperdeck did themselves in with their greed on overpricing cards when japan had them for nothing (Crush Card) and constant support of the Metagame while keeping the casual players like me down. I support konami specifically for those reasons and the chance that Konami will give everyone an equal oppertunity to win and not just the TeleDAD decks. Now you seem to support Konami in this war, so I say kudos to you :)

already, the regional and sjc tournaments are being haulted until it is resolved, we may even see worse with the coming weeks. this conflict needs to be put to rest for the sake of the game and ppl who play it, otherwise ppl will stop playing as a result.

UDE already lost. January 15th Konami issued a statement saying that any contract they had with UDE was terminated when the Championship Packs weren't delivered.

so it is brainless to say tht they have the authority to directly release the champion pack and crimson crisis, when they already lost 2 legal battles. i believe konami needs to sit this out and wait, once the contract is up, then they can go ahead and make plans to retain the game. as for this dispute affecting duelists, this dispute is having a negative impact on OUR gameplay.

aside from this we know nothing else, we dont know any of the obligations the two companies have with one another, so it is pointless for us to argue that upperdeck violated the agreement, bc this information was never made public. my other concern is this, it is obvious that konami still had a bit of tenure left to go, they tried this in the american courts, and in the netherlands, which are the dutch courts, both systems ruled in favor of upperdeck.

well here's my view of the entire situation. i understand konami wanting to take the game back, it's their's and they have a right to distribute it as they see fit. but, they are still under contract with upperdeck. what we know of this agreement is that upperdeck is licensed to distribute here in the north and south american continent and in the uk, while konami gets the asian markets.

ok some questions here: it wasnt only the courts here in america that had ruled in favor ude, there were also the dutch courts which ruled in their favor as well. so if you've got two court systems ruling against you, then how are you able to break the agreement you had with your distributor? it seems kinda bleak to me, it would've been smarter to simply wait for the contract to end.

i not rooting for anyone yet, though hbb you do make good points concerning the release of certain cards tht shouldve been released but ude chose not to for whtever reason. the problem i have with this is wht does this do to the game? as far i can see, regardless of who you root for, this conflict will have negative impact on the game as a whole.
